At that point, I think it's probably a good thing. Basically a massive warning sign to not buy that piece of crap. 2$ an hour though is absolutely stupid. Not sure how much your expenses of taxes and grocery's are, but I hope your minimum wage is increased, cause 2$ is just dumb.

Its that Sony greed for you... they even changed the top faceplace insert locations to make you even buy new faceplates... let alone remove stand and disc drive... the disc drive your PS 1 2 3 4 5 had... well you are not getting it. And you pay more... just wait to see how Sony will rob the world with the PS6/PS6 "Pro" scam unless we boycott Sony... right now. Mark my words.
Right. All of them probly wont optimize for ps5 pro either. Thats the other thing about pro is you dont even know if every game will take full advantage of it. Even now I play 3 or 4 games that really need a pro upgrade and none of them are getting a patch
@ Yeah I agree, and don’t get me wrong I totally love the idea of upscalers like dlss for mid and low end rigs cause they can be usable for many years to come but everything would be fine playing native if devs would not be lazy. PS6 will have the same marketing strategy remakes, PSSR 2.0 and probably will still not hit 4k60 without compromises.
So tired of people whining about optimization as if they don't bother.... PS5 is literally about an RX 6700 GPU wise and you're running games that are coming out on PCs with way better hardware, sometimes even with ray tracing. It runs games quite well for what it is
What you're saying is that an RTX 2070 should run all modern games at 60fps, 4k, ray tracing on, high detail if the developers knew how to code better? Essentially you're looking at a 2070 in the PS5 and there are some games that need a 4080 to hit 60fps comfortably with ray tracing on.

Honestly this. Give us back our b-tier respectable 7.5/10 games again! Playing stuff like Wanted:Dead and Stranger of Paradise feels so refreshing after all these walking corridor simulator games that think they're movies. Lol, even God of War used to be so frantic even if it was relatively more straightforward compared to Devil May Cry or especially Ninja Gaiden. Luckily we have indies giving us quick experiences as well as grander stuff like Kena Bridge of Spirits. And now even the Chinese and Korean devs are coming in swinging all of the sudden with full paid releases rocking business practices that aren't as awful as what's became the norm (I fear they're simply building good faith to milk us dry later, but that's another conversation). Stellar Blade, and Wukong have been a remarkable change of pace.
GTA5 was basically a gen 8 game that was released on the 7th gen systems. And they struggled to hit 25fps. The intended version of the game then got "remastered" and released with the 8th gen consoles a year later. Rockstar make their money twice (then milk it for 10+ years). Mark my words, the exact same thing will happen with GTA6 and the PS5 / PS6.
Yeah this has been my thoughts for years honestly. After no news on GTA6 until last year, I could just tell by the timing of the console generations that 6 would come out around a year or so before the next console comes out. Then, rerelease it like you said for the (PS6 ig). I wonder if Sony and Microsoft have like, some kind of deal or something with Rockstar because it's one of the biggest games. To purposely release it to entice people to buy the newer console, so they can have a better experience. It's all bs, I just got a pc last year cause of all the bs.
@@KesterStudios What? So you are saying they were gonna release it on the Xbox and the ps2? No way. 7th gen is 360 and ps3 and GTA V released for that. They wanted to release it for that generation but had to drastically reduce it compared to base ps4 or xbox one.
Do not buy consoles without disc drives. Even if you buy digital, even if you think you have the "option" of a disc drive later, do NOT buy consoles without disc drives. By buying them, you are sending the message that you are okay with your autonomy as a buyer to be taken away.
It's rubbish like this why I cut off contact with consoles when the 4 was out a decade ago. Pure shameless greed. The Steam Deck saved my love for gaming.
Same here! I fricking LOVE my deck. Thing saved my passion for gaming. Not only that, but the fact that I can pair dualsense controllers, an Xbox controller, mouse and keyboard, and play multiplayer Mario party with my gf and her niece - the deck is bringing family together in beautiful ways. The tinkering to get everything to work was really fun, too. It reminded me of everything that I loved about PC gaming in the first place. Put me right back to being five years old experiencing Wolfenstein 3D for the first time 🥹🥹🥹
@ The steam deck is insanely powerful, but you will definitely see it struggle with newer titles at higher quality settings. That being said, I have played Doom 2016, Death Stranding, and a handful of other slightly newer titles, and they don’t have any issues whatsoever running smoothly on the Steamdeck. The thing is an absolute beast.
The no disc drive is the main killer for this console, like the people that are getting this most likely have a collection of ps4/ps5 discs no? And it worries me about the future for video game discs in general Edit: People should have options when purchasing video games (digital or physical). Being tied to only PlayStation’s digital front is a negative for everyone. If I someone wants to buy red dead 2, they would have to pay a full $60 digitally or wait for a sale, or just buy it physically on sale or pre owned for a lower price. I don’t have a problem with pc since you’re not tied to one storefront, you have multiple options (steam, gog, epic games, Xbox, etc.). I mean at least you can still add a disc drive to the console but c’mon that’s an extra $80 on top of the $700.
Modern Physical game disc's are pointless. Most discs now are either half the content on disc and you need to download the rest or theyre just a license to download the game
I don't get this massive obsession with physical-media thesedays, when most discs don't contain the full-game anyway. And even for those which do ship a full v1.0 copy, for any online play you'll be forced to patch anyway before you can play. Physical just doesn't seem to hold as much power as it once did
i'm with ya there, i'm probably one of the few in my area that mostly relies on Discs and Carts(as a PS and Nintendo gamer) because i don't like digital library with exception of DLCs. Only pure digital library i have is PC and phone.
This isn't unusual especially after 2020. People ended up selling PS5 anywhere from $500-1500 and that was for a disc drive one lol. I'm not surprised especially in the marketplace.
PS Portal, PSVR2, PS5 Pro, stand, disc drive, Dualsense Edge, plus games, plus PS Plus. People getting those pandemic losses taken out their ass 💀💀 it’s aight I’m cool having the base versions of every current console, no need to upgrade
As someone who waited around 4 years to finally upgrade to the ps5, this ain’t a surprise. This generation of consoles is severely underwhelming compared to the progress previous generations made.
The PS4/Xbone were _extremely anemic_ on release, the Pro/1X finally gave it adequate GPU power but kept the poor CPU performance the same. The main change with those consoles were the switch to x86 and to more modern workflows comparable to PC, graphics & compute wise it wasn't that much of an effective jump. You really could build a decent PC comparable to a PS4 for the same budget. The PS5/SeX were actually a crazy good value, nowadays they're not amazing but still fairly decent. You couldn't build a PC for the price of a PS5 on release (MSRP, not scalp pricing), nowadays it's hard but doable.
I'd argue that the "progress" of the last two PS generations have been disappointing. The leap from PS2 to PS3 was fantastic, but from PS3 to PS4 and PS4 to PS5 have been minimal and in some ways even a little backward.
I feel like at a certain point there's not much progress to make until we start getting cyber punk level technology. Even the phone doesn't have much it can improve on other than the camera and battery
Sony really said "pay $700 for slightly better shadows and no disc drive" while most of us are still waiting for actual PS5 exclusives worth playing. The fact that they're charging extra for the stand and disc drive on their "premium" console is wild. At this point, just save the money for GTA 6 or invest in a good OLED TV - you'll notice a bigger difference in your gaming experience
Concord was such a GENERATIONAL flop that Sony decided to charge 700 dollars for the PS5 Pro with no disk drive or vertical stand to recoup their losses.
Consoles started dying when they released their exclusives everywhere, two of the main reasons why anyone would buy them are exclusives and because it's cheap than a PC, that's why many people don't really need to have the newer consoles, except the Switch
@@alphakowaclips actually they don’t cost that because I got a desktop for $183 on clearance at Walmart and it has 12 gigs of ram in it and it runs great for the games I play at least. If you don’t know how to go shopping you can just be honest about that…
@alphakowaclips it's easy enough to find a PC for less than $1000 that's able to play 90% of games that get released, plus you can use it as an actual PC. It's a lot more expensive, but if anything goes wrong with it, it can be easier to repair yourself, too.
Completely agree with you. First Sony console I'm not purchasing. No disc drive is a giant slap in the face to begin with, but the cost doesn't come close to justifying the slightly improved, maybe, not really visible improvement. No.
Idk if you know this, but when the base ps5 released, the box had a 4K logo on it marketing that it can render 4K video. The months before the ps5 pro was announced, display boxes for the base ps5 were specially shipped out to gamestops WITHOUT the 4K logo on it, and I’m sure you’re not surprised, the 4K logo was added to the ps5 PRO
I already have a PS5 that I haven't even set up yet. I'm still working through setting up my ultimate gaming room. So I have no compulsion to go out and buy a PS5 Pro just for a few extra frames.
Here in Australia, it's about $1,200 AUD just for the pro console and 1 controller. An extra controller = $120. The plastic stand = $50. The disc drive (if you can even get one) = $160. On top of that, the games are anywhere between $60 to $120 each, depending on how broke you wanna feel afterwards. And we can't forget about all those jucy PlayStaion online services that will set you back another $21 per month!! If some poor fellow Aussie wantted to get the best out of the PS5 Pro, it's gonna easily set them back $2,000, maybe even $2,500 if they add in a few more AAA games and accessories. Edit: Also, the PSVR2 headset is $880 AUD. More than the base PS5, which is just $800. So make that over $3,000 AUD if we're to go all out on PS5 stuff.
@Shadox-yv8ms Pretty much. I've seen pre-builts from Australian retailers for $1,500 to $2,000 AUD rocking 40 series cards, so even compared to a PC, it's kinda not worth it.
Mine cost me 1,000 CAD and its pretty average but I can still run most games really well at high graphics, even for the MH Wilds Beta I didnt have too much problems
And with a disc drive. But yes your point of course stands. And the features in the pro will end up in the eventual ps6 anyways. Is there even a need for pro versions of consoles anymore?
@@robertlawrence9000it literally almost is, after tax and the disc drive and a stand. It’s insane. And remember the prices over seas are way more expensive

I tried to get the 30th anniversary pro but I didn't get lucky. I didn't worry though since the upgrades on the pro were mostly "graphical" and not performance wise. But yeah, future games will NEVER hit 60fps so I'm good with the slim digital 30th anniversary bundle since we all know consoles will NEVER catch up to PC specs. I'll also wait for the ps6 to play gta 6 at max settings hahaha.
Yeah selling a barely improved console for $700 and not including a disk drive or vertical stand is definitely going to make a whole lot of people not give a shit
Nah saving up for a gaming PC, or spending half the cost of a PS5 on a steam deck or ROG ally instead, those are the smart moves. Consoles are more expensive long term due to lack of game sales and the subscription to play online, not to mention a PC is also capable of doing everything else a PC can do, so your getting better gaming at a long term discount with added utility of the spectrum of a computers use cases and the couple hundred more up front pays for itself and far beyond in no time. For about 1400 you can get a much more powerful gaming PC, that you can upgrade as you see fit, and buy games on sale for $5 and not pay to use your own internet, and yeah it's more money but comparing the benefits to the cost up front it is an astronomical downside to be a console owner. Other than Nintendo of course, they do their own thing, I believe the only thing keeping Sony and Microsoft in the game is brand recognition and brand loyalty
@@roachdoggjr3458 Nintendo's really in their own league, the two things on my list for the nearish future are a new PC build and the Switch 2. Right on the money with the rest of it. I'm retiring a PC with 12 year old hardware, the only thing moving forward is the 2070 Super. Healthy competition with storefronts, discounts, not paying for online, no worry about backwards compatibility etc makes it worth it, especially when the price point gets this comparable.
I was huge with PlayStation as a kid but by the time i got the ps4 in 2020 i realized I didn’t wanna pay $60 for unfinished games on top of paying the PlayStation plus every month so I decided to sell it and just stick to my Nintendo switch where I can still get $20 games that are great fun and cartridges because I’m never going disc Free & i dont need online capabilities. I can definitely see myself getting into PlayStation two again though. I have a PC but dont game on it much.
It looks like it has sold well with all the sold out disk drives, which for me personally is a bit of a shame because it encourages them to do it more often, minor upgrades for massive costs.
The only game that has used the ps5 unique capabilities to the fullest extent has been Astrobot which was launched recently and ps5 has been around for almost 4 years now. Everything else has been just remakes/remasters. Why would anyone even consider a ps5 pro or even a ps6 is beyond me.
I would also add Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart to that list. The Rifts use the fast loading in an interesting way, instead of a crutch, and the haptics also feel quite nice.
Got mine as I planned on getting one this year anyway. I did end up buying a base PS5 because my PS4 Pro didn't last until this November (wireless gamepads randomly disconnect and won't pair again until I restart and eventually I ended up with corrupt firmware after restarting; won't recognize the firmware update file on any of the USB drives I tried so I gave up). I like how much faster the PS5 Pro it starts up coming out of standby. Looking forward to more games supporting the upgraded hardware.

That’s one of those things that makes me dumbfounded by people who say it’s a scam like bro it isn’t going to get any better you think the PS6 is going to be explosively different from the PS5 (in best case scenarios) is pretty laughable mind you at anything below $500
@ dog it’s going to cost a lot of money regardless. You literally having digital foundry saying for it’s price it’s actually pretty good (in comparison to PC specifically) not that the results are spectacular
I keep hearing the argument that no $700 PC is going to beat the PS5 pro. While that's true, it misses the point entirely. If you spend a premium price, you should get a premium product. You are not buying a premium product with the PS5 Pro, and for a few hundred more, you can get a PC that offers better features, more flexibility, and more freedom than a console will for the foreseeable future. You are spending $700 on a piece of hardware that is sold piecemeal without the stand and drive, when you can get a close enough product for half the price.
the moment they said it's not going to have any disc drive at 700$, it's not just a disappointment, it's scummy practice, because they are basically pulling the ubisoft "you should be comfortable not owning the game" move and sold the separate disc drive as another scummy practice of "you don't like the way we do things, fine, we'll give you the old option.........for a price"
He’s not lying. I literally just built a pc with a 4080 super. A bit more on the expensive side but now I’ll be able to do way more with it. It’s just not worth spending almost 1k on & all you can do is game but just imagine how much the ps6 is gonna be. Start building that pc guys, sorry Sony.

My man, i was with you about PCs but with the optimization they're going through i rather Stick to the base console and have fun with it. What metters Is the fun you have with the games rather than graphics alone. It's not like we're playing the games at 15 fps with pixelated graphics though, we're playing very good games with more than decent performance and resolution. To tell you something, i dug out my PS2 back because silent Hill shattered memories got my interest and still, I'm enjoying it. This run to graphical greatness Is pointless as we are getting minimal improvement in time, also count that we still have very few games out.
Realistically, the only reason to use max graphical fidelity on console and desktop (if your pc can’t handle a consistent 60fps or higher on max settings) if for nice screenshots and cinematic with slow cam movements.
same thoughts. linear games in general often closed and personal, yet those games aint taxing given their scale. for large scale titles i find Ultra being eye candy and taxing. unless its shadows, its often the immersion breaking shadow pop-in😂GTAV tried to solve that w/ broad option and yet had to edit the ini.
@ honestly valid, I only use PC but I apply the principle I stated, if I wanna take a screenie, I cap my frames at 30 and put everything to the highest.
5:11 you are neglecting to mention the reason most pc gamers are bringing up the 4090 is because a lot of sony fanboys have been claiming the PS5 pro beats a 4090 for a couple of months now. They also refuse to properly compare the PS5 to pc hardware. They keep using nvidia when they should be comparing it to AMD.
Can’t even compare when one thing can play pretty much anything you want on it and the other just plays Sony/playstation games and maybe some Xbox from whatever they allowed to be put on the online store for that console
@@Layla-p2h Why? I have a PC as well, but as far as consoles go I only saw value in getting a Switch (and I'm getting the Switch 2 when that comes out) because Nintendo is actually fun. Playstation is the barren wasteland of consoles. Every good game the Playstation even has is available on PC.
@Layla-p2h Being this arrogant about money is going to cost you. My brother used to spend and spend and spend like he had all the cash in the world, and now he's nearly bankrupt.
Sony is pretty much dominating the console generation. They probably feel they don't need to even try anymore. No competition means no need to improve.
In Switzerland if you get the "PlayStation 5 Pro + Disc Drive Bundle", which is cheaper than buying them seperately, you still pay Chf 900 which is USD 1030+ or CAD 1430+. With that kind of money you're much better off building a PC, especially if you have some older parts you can reuse.
I was waiting on the PS5 Pro to buy into this generation. I still use lots of physical PS4 games and Blu-Rays. An $80 add-on for a disk drive is a kick in the teeth. Anyway, my refurbished PS5 from Sony's website has been great so far. And for half the price of what I would have to pay to consume physical media on a PS5 Pro.
PC isn't going away though. Because the uses for a PC vastly outnumber the uses for a console. There will always be DRM free indie games, which you can backup yourself which is just as good as discs. If gaming is headed that direction, I'll stick to old consoles and DRM free PC games.
This was exactly what I expected. What does a "Pro" console do for you, if the developers don't release a patch for their game? If the graphics mode is capped at 30fps, then they need to patch it. I am still waiting for a fps unlock patch for RDR2 for PS5. But they won't do that - instead they made a PS5 version of GTA 5
I bought an OLED TV shortly after getting my PS5. Playing Horizon Forbidden West and God of War Ragnarok on an OLED is truly amazing, but I realized that graphics don't really need to get any better.
"Some of us can't afford to get a gaming PC" The same people buying a PS5 Pro for $700+, a disc drive for $100+, a subcription to play online (still a joke this is a thing) and full price games.
Gotta love when pc gamers assume console users buy games at full price and buy new consoles day 1 AND buy subscriptions 😂 I'm always skipping the pro versions and haven't bought psplus the past 5-6 ish years
If you can save $700 for a PS5 "Pro", then you can hold onto that $700 and KEEP saving the extra it would take to invest in a starter gaming PC. I am not rich, a few months ago I was playing my PC games on a cheap little monitor (still having fun). The priority was the PC itself. Not only did I just get a sweet monitor like a month ago, I bought my first real good mouse that wasn't the cheapest thing I could find off the shelf like a week ago and oh my God, I did not realize how it would change my world. Making sure I had a solid PC "box" to start with, worth it. Also, PS4, still works if I wanna play it.

ONE GAME, I DON'T KNOW WHY
Your profile has Xbox game play, nice bait. I guess Phil's army will fight on forever.
Conclusion is, devs need to optimize their fucking games. Base PS5 would be enough if they did this.
Devs can't optimize games to run at 4k 60fps when the hardware isn't capable of that😂
So tired of people whining about optimization as if they don't bother....
Sony releasing a PS5 pro with no disk drive at $700 with barely any noticable improvement was never going to end good.

The no disc drive is the main killer for this console, like the people that are getting this most likely have a collection of ps4/ps5 discs no? And it worries me about the future for video game discs in general
Edit: People should have options when purchasing video games (digital or physical). Being tied to only PlayStation’s digital front is a negative for everyone. If I someone wants to buy red dead 2, they would have to pay a full $60 digitally or wait for a sale, or just buy it physically on sale or pre owned for a lower price.
@@Fay7666 However, you couldn't find a PS5 for MSRP on release. So it all evens out.

Waiting for PS6 is the smart move. This is an insanely expensive incremental upgrade for a system that has a very weak game library to begin with.
Not supporting Sony at all is the even smarter move.
Sony ima be real I'm not spending $1000 on a beefed up 2080ti when I could just finish my PC build and get a 4080 or 3090. Tf were they thinkingggggggg
The PS5 Pro is equivalent to a 3070 Ti or 4070 SUPER. $762 (after tax) for the ps5 pro compared to a 3070 ti which is $679 or a 4070 SUPER which is $609 on Newegg (pre tax) so actually it winds up being about the same but you get the bells and whistle of the ps console :)
@@Qb3nsis Im being hyperbolic, it would almost reach 6800xt/3070ti but vram is not there. and for $1000 and you are locked to Sonys bs ecosystem and subscriptions and no disk drive. My pc, if you didn't get deals, is $1,600 and im still waiting for a decent gpu, but series x is like $500 and I get a 7600xt which is about the 3070. So yeah it's an improvement like how my balls are improved after I shave them. Still just a pair of nuts what a steal! why not just buy a base ps5

The law of diminishing return doing its thing
That’s one of those things that makes me dumbfounded by people who say it’s a scam like bro it isn’t going to get any better you think the PS6 is going to be explosively different from the PS5 (in best case scenarios) is pretty laughable mind you at anything below $500
the law of greed doing its thing
Stop eating so much sony slop
@ dog it’s going to cost a lot of money regardless. You literally having digital foundry saying for it’s price it’s actually pretty good (in comparison to PC specifically) not that the results are spectacular
5:22 “incredibly re…. Brain dead” nice save Muta
Great video as per usual mate. Many thanks 👊🏻
I still got the PS4, the PS5 still feels new to me. It’s crazy we’re already talking about a new PlayStation.
"High framerates" being 60 FPS is actually hilarious
60 is high Anything over 120 is unnoticeable
@@dirodekres5132 60 is the minimum for people that arent idiots that like getting scammed.
Start building that pc guys, sorry Sony.
you just spent $1100 on a gpu
"A bit more expensive" is an understatement
pc is a better platform so I wont judge your choice at all

Im coming from a ps5 btw,i still own it.Thanks to the ps5 Pro which pushed me to do so and glad i did it😂
What a wild surprise! Who could have possibly seen this coming?
I play on xbox and switch however I also like playstation as well. I just like video games. I don't get all tribal team sport mentality about video games like alot of people do for some reason. Console wars are beyond stupid but to each their own
Always refreshing to see a comment that was written by a person with common sense, you are awesome.
People need something to fight over
how is playstation good? if you have money to throw away, good for you, but not everyone is going to buy all videogame system
PC provides much better value at this price point, so I just don't understand the point of a product like this. That's not even mentioning the lack of a disc drive and a lack of games that truly push the hardware.
This.
It literally doesn't, not even close.
This has been disproven multiple times already, have a look at Linus's tech tips's video about it if interested.
PlayStation defenders are wild.
The ps5 pro in Australia cost $1200, it’s so disgusting like why does it cost so much without a disc drive
I mean yea, only change was the GPU but the CPU is still shit, if they upgraded both things the PS5 Pro would be a good game changer
$700? Just save and buy a PC...

Usually i go for the performance on PC, but on console i demand graphics
@ honestly valid, I only use PC but I apply the principle I stated, if I wanna take a screenie, I cap my frames at 30 and put everything to the highest.
i have a 7900xtx and put everything on medium/high (4k native) except draw distance i always max
@ respectable af, I personally prefer NVIDIA because of raytracing and Content creator features but AMD is still extremely competent.
Even the 32X was a better upgrade to Sega Genesis than the PRO is to the PS5...
I love SEGA and hate the current AAA gaming industry.
So please understand when I say this couldn't be any further from the truth.
I Approve This Message...👏🧐💯🥂✨🎊🎉
I'm a Sonic fan, and the modern AAA gaming industry is crap.
Digimon is better than Call of Duty.
Well said, I’d only even consider grabbing this if I didn’t already own a PS5. Even if Sony offered some sort of trade in offer I would hesitate.
Why compare it to AMD when the AMD flagship outperforms the 4090 in a lot of games?
Can’t even compare when one thing can play pretty much anything you want on it and the other just plays Sony/playstation games and maybe some Xbox from whatever they allowed to be put on the online store for that console
It's equivalent to a 4070. Not a 4090. And people compare it to Nvidia as it includes a Ai upscaler and better RT. AMD aren't there yet.
Litterally look up any 7900 vs 4090 comparisons and you're disproven. @MangoKai
Sony players feeling the Concorde tax.
500$ is sweet price for console. Anything beyond that is luxury for gaming entertainment
Sony needs you to buy a PS% Pro so they can recoup losses for 400 million dollars in Concord loss. Understand what they are doing.
Sony forgot that people already had a better PS5 Pro
It's called a PC
@@Layla-p2h Why?
I have a PC as well, but as far as consoles go I only saw value in getting a Switch (and I'm getting the Switch 2 when that comes out) because Nintendo is actually fun. Playstation is the barren wasteland of consoles. Every good game the Playstation even has is available on PC.
@@Layla-p2h youu really don't like having money in your pocket do you

Genuinely cant believe consoles are even a thing. Pointless piece of technology.
@@liamnissanS2K too poor? 😂
Sony is pretty much dominating the console generation. They probably feel they don't need to even try anymore. No competition means no need to improve.
Nintendo is really in their own domain then.
It's coming to the point they'll only sell terminals and subscriptions. Game consoles and discs are going away.
It would be amazing on any high end TV..
There are some people who play on computers, then there are people who cant use a computer who play consoles and talk shit.
"Some of us can't afford to get a gaming PC"
The same people buying a PS5 Pro for $700+, a disc drive for $100+, a subcription to play online (still a joke this is a thing) and full price games.
Same on switch, but less costs.
“Just get a PC” mf’s when I tell them I haven’t even bought a game for full price in the last 5 years let alone a console
Gotta love when pc gamers assume console users buy games at full price and buy new consoles day 1 AND buy subscriptions 😂
I'm always skipping the pro versions and haven't bought psplus the past 5-6 ish years
And probably the newest iphone every couple of years
If you can save $700 for a PS5 "Pro", then you can hold onto that $700 and KEEP saving the extra it would take to invest in a starter gaming PC.
I'm looking at a PS5 disk drive for 79.94 from Walmart right now. Not sure why you're saying they're so hard to find. All the same fire vids though best wishes man!
As a Sony Pony I’m feeling pretty Jaded, Spider-Man 2 not getting dlc and that dumb portable streaming device are some of the few things pushing me to the edge.
Only people who are going to buy this are RUclipsrs and people who will buy it just cause it has pro on the box
You need a quality display with vrr to really feel the difference in games, going back n forth between Spider-Man 2, horizon, gt7. It’s awesome man, RUclips videos don’t show the differences. I can feel the difference in frame rates and overall clarity.
ps5 is a skip for me , there is no games on the damn thing , and i I bought most of the stations from one to four , but the way Sony is treating the PlayStation five is so sad
But Demonn Soulssss
The problem is that PS5 Pro is way too expensive for being such a small upgrade + them saving the money on disc drive & vertical stand is just scummy.
2TB SSD's will do that. The PS4 Pro came with a 1TB 5400RPM HDD. So that's why it was the price it was. I wished it would of come with a 1TB SSD back then. But the price would have been higher.
The difference between 1tb m.2 ssd and 2tb is like 50$.
Me and my mates were bored and talked about the ps5 pro, how it functions and if we can build our own one from scratch (using my countries pricing) and all new parts.
We got this list
*ryzen 7 5700, A520 and 16gb ram combo (R5000) ($287)
*700W psu (R1300) ($75)
*1tb ssd (R1250) ($72)
*case and fans (R1500) ($86)
*GPU RX7800 xt (R1100) ($633)
I just realised how expensive the ps5 pro is here. our shops sell them for R20 000 or $1151
It’s a 2 tb ssd
Didn't Sony already try this? Major deja vu
Thing Is, the ps3 initially included other OS installation such as Linux and the entire PlayStation 2 emotion engine included. Literally Two consoles in One so the price was kinda justified. This One Is a scam
