Oil Filter Gasket Lube - Avoid A Big Oil Leak Mess!

On occasion I get a desperate phone call asking for auto help. What's the problem I ask? "I just changed my oil and I think the oil filter is bad!" I come over, take off the new oil filter and low and behold, the old filter gasket is stuck to the engine block! To prevent this from happening, always apply a thin bead of fresh motor oil to the filter's rubber gasket.
