For 3 straight years they toured non-stop on this album. Unfortunately (and also ironically since I'm using it) that the internet has destroyed the music industry. At least as far as live performances go. Now in order to see your favorite band, you most likely have to go to a festival like Coachella or Bonnaroo and its gonna have 30 other bands on the bill. Gone are the days when a band could headline a tour with one other act and an opener and still have it be profitable. And sadly the chances of finding who you want without waiting forever has diminished.
good lord that's high quality! Thank you! And the soundboard recording makes it sound like the audience won't follow the constant orders to chant, ha ha.
Thanks for sharing! Metallica did two shows at Frankenhalle in Nuremberg -- 27 and 29 November. I saw them on 27th and a week before in Munich Olympiahalle on 22 Nov 1992.
Metallica were ferocious animals back in the days of 1991, until they just gave into all of this Liberal crap that gets shoved down Our throats today! 1996 was the year Lars tried to take everyone down with Him! He let a lot of people down, becoming another Madonna like puppet!
I mean yeah, those first four are for sure, but I'm curious if these commentators who make this post on EVERY Metallica comment section have actually bothered to listen to anything off Death Magnetic, Hardwired or 72 Seasons?
Ok this is BY FARRRR m favorite concert video everrrr ! It’s even better than being there, Ive got a front row seat to every vantage point. A++++++ thank you !
I liked the setlist for Basel 1993 (and a few other shows of that year) way more. They would play underrated gems like Disposable, Messiah, Straw... Generally speaking, it was something terrific when they'd play songs off the Justice album during those tours. It'd make the song sound 100% more powerful and aggressive.
The black album marks the end of Metallica for me personally. I tolerated Load and Reload, but after the black album, it just wasn't the same. Jason was the true soul and the power behind Metallica. After I've learned why Jason left, I lost whatever respect I had for the rest of them. Now, what's left are good memories of an awesome time in the 80s and 90s.
You know they are allowed to make their own choices right ? God forbid a band do what they feel is best for them . They dont deserve one shred of the hate they get . As if they should keep your prefrences and expectations at the forefront of everything they do . Lol come on man. Its like people with this outlook still find a way to come to everything metallica releases just to say the old stuff is better and that they dont like metallica anymore lol its really weird . As if all old metallica songs are the end all be all to metal for some people . Good lord i dont like the newer stuff as much either but i still tip my hat and respect them as human beings , leaving my prefrences out because thats how i would want to be treated if i were in their shoes .

I miss this metallica. I seen them live in 91 and was grounded until 2000. Lmfao.. It was worth it. $75 for them to through their sweat at you. Absolutely
It's amazing to listen to them 30 plus years ago, as opposed to more recent concerts. Lars was a beast back then (I know, saw them in Phoenix on December, 4th, 1988 -Queensryche opened for them). I know he was mainly the brains behind Metallica. He had the idea for the band before there was a band, he got a spot on a metal comp before there was a band or a song. He had the connections. Without him, Metallica wouldn't be what it is today, for good or ill. However, his drumming has seriously lagged in the past roughly 20 years. When they were touring for "RtL", "MoP" (both with Cliff, then Jason), then "AJfA" and "TBA", he was on FIRE when he played. Yeah, he made mistakes but even the best drummers do. He just seemed to care more about his playing. It seems to me, after this album and tour, when they released "Load" and "ReLoaded", his playing changed. You could see it and hear it. I know the guy was playing 2-3 hours plus a night, on top of touring, interviews, helping management do what needed to be done, and so forth but it's like after the touring for "TBA" was done, and they reconvened for "Load/ReLoaded", he just didn't have the effort, or feel, in his playing. I'm not saying he was horrible back then, even in the mid/late 90s but especially after Jason left, he's just become a shadow of his former self as far drumming goes. As I mentioned, I know he was more than Metallica's drummer and I also understand he's getting older (aren't we all) but at some point, just call it quits. It shows in his playing now. He just seems far more unconcerned.
too bad their egos never allowed them to accept Jason as a member of the band..... sadly they just saw him as "you play bass for US" ..... they got what they deserved..... Justice for Jason.

Crowd not realizing how lucky they are: Metallica at their peak !
Just past it but yeah, still worthy of being seen.
Saw them at Woodstock '94. Supposedly after they were worn out. But they really nailed that show.
Wow 🤩 THANK YOU!
I was 11 in 92 and about to move to Nuremberg... Unfortunately I never got to see Metallica live with long hair!
Wow! 🤩 DANKE!
92 war ich 11 und kurz davor, nach Nürnberg umzuziehen.. Metallica mit langen Haaren durfte ich leider nie live sehen!
Biggest thanks to you for uploading this. This is exactly what I needed. Wish you all the best man.
yes, this was my first Metallica Concert! Thanks for uploading ! !!!
That tour, same year, was the third, and last, time I saw Metallica in concert. The Justice show was THE shit.
good lord that's high quality! Thank you! And the soundboard recording makes it sound like the audience won't follow the constant orders to chant, ha ha.
Amazing show! Powerfully performed!
Thanks for sharing! Metallica did two shows at Frankenhalle in Nuremberg -- 27 and 29 November. I saw them on 27th and a week before in Munich Olympiahalle on 22 Nov 1992.
I don't care what people say about Metallica, there is no doubt that their first 4 records are simply great..
Metallica were ferocious animals back in the days of 1991, until they just gave into all of this Liberal crap that gets shoved down Our throats today!
1996 was the year Lars tried to take everyone down with Him!
He let a lot of people down, becoming another Madonna like puppet!
Absolutely. No need to listen to anything after
I mean yeah, those first four are for sure, but I'm curious if these commentators who make this post on EVERY Metallica comment section have actually bothered to listen to anything off Death Magnetic, Hardwired or 72 Seasons?
@@TheMrHavish DM is solid enough, with they would release an official non Brickwalled version.
Ok this is BY FARRRR m favorite concert video everrrr ! It’s even better than being there, Ive got a front row seat to every vantage point. A++++++ thank you !
I never thought I would hear Jason and Kirk play Dazed and Confused.
I mean this Setlist. Opening with of Wolf? Damage inc? Through the never?
This setlist is among the best of the Black Tour
Maybe not there best album but definitely is the best live sound they ever had
@@Misty_Callie Yes. It's the best album. Definitely!
@@Cthulhu_Awaken Metallica never played leper messiah live during the black album era
@@juanrezende4914 they played it one Time in Los Angeles, March 1992
55:25 Even Lady Justice is head-banging for the coming solo :D
This is the only time I have seen Kirk playing Enter Sandman's solo without Wah pedal!!!
And your simply wrong . James and lars are the heart and soul of metallica . Always have been and still are today .
Yes, I obviously agree... Metty just weren't the same anymore, especially in 1996!
The Black Album is where Metallica reached the Heavens of Metal music!!!
I terribly miss Metallica from 1983 - 1991...
Top metallica life sound!!! The bass is gorgeous.

Sanitarium was perfect 👌
What an amazing setlist!
and Of wolf and man as the opening song?! wow!
Thank you Metallica for the many years and songs of contemplation.
taking me back to the last Metallica band ever known.. thanks for the 4k-ish quality video brother!
Can't help but headbang during harvester...
I was looking for this comment
@@ManuelMartinez09 People get sick of that song for some reason lol but it's a killer song and as a recovering heroin addict I really relate to the lyrics.
the groove too good
I miss this metallica.
I seen them live in 91 and was grounded until 2000. Lmfao.. It was worth it. $75 for them to through their sweat at you. Absolutely
Bass is nice and loud in the mix 👍🏻
Awesome sound quality, changes everything ! Thanks much for the share!
what an outstanding performance!
I love how loud the bass is 😍
It's amazing to listen to them 30 plus years ago, as opposed to more recent concerts.
100% 👍👍👍
This was the first and only time Of Wolf and Man was a show opener. Crazy
1:17:40 Nice shot with James and Jason.
Holy shit the resolution is superb!!
Thanks
thats a treasure--ty uploader---why concerts filmed in 92 are top notch quality and today's live streaming sounds like s@#t????
jason with your voice its wonderful its a beast
too bad their egos never allowed them to accept Jason as a member of the band..... sadly they just saw him as "you play bass for US" ..... they got what they deserved..... Justice for Jason.
That BASS sound. YEAH!
Dude your channel is awesome thanks for all the posts
