Great wee video again Michael. Very nice catch at the end. I have the sks blacks also, I love them mainly use them in the summer and I have had rays up to about 9lb on them so far. I have had them out for the cod up the east coast as well in winter and they handled the rough ground no bother
Thanks Sean, i am hoping to get onto a beach in the next couple of days see if i can get a turbo, been a while since i had one. I'll see how the rod takes to pendulum type casts. I have heard a lot of good things from guys that own them didn't know there was so many being used out there.
Never fished there myself yet intend to, from what i've heard it can be a tackle graveyard. I suppose it's like most places until you get to really know the place you're guaranteed loses. Anstruther used to be my tackle graveyard,

Thanks Fred, once i properly get the feel for them i will get them out in the rougher ground, they certainly have decent ite detection spot even small flatties on them.
Another great video Michael and yes at times most people would think us anglers have a screw lose especially in some of the conditions we fish in ha ha and its always good to christen your new rods keep the videos coming Michael tight lines
great videos I would like to say that the rods your using sonics i have a 13ft and a 14ft i i have really bullied them without any problems I really do love these rods some say that their cheap rods well if that's the case I am doing ok with my cheap rods haha i have had a 13 pound cod on my 14ft and no problems with that.(cod) good luck and keep the vids coming cheers frank

good video mate never fished there but im going to give it a go when is the sea trout season is it the same as brown trout? im fairly new to sea fishing btw liked and subscribed

A lot of people don't seem to like the rods. But I have seen them put through some rough fishing and know that one has caught a 100lb +skate
Yeh there seems to be a lot that like them that like them and a lot that don't just depends , same as most other rods i guess.
I will hopefully be up the east coast soon with mine giving it another bash over the rough ground

Glad you enjoyed it. The sea trout season is from Jan 15 to Oct 15 ge permit from Dundee district council. Thank you for subscribing.
