- Genshin Impact 2.7 is just around the corner. And so is Kuki Shinobu and Yelan. With it also comes new voice lines from both characters. So today, I come at you with Yelan's voice lines about Ningguang, Tartaglia / Childe, Yanfei, Xingqiu, Keqing, Xiangling, Xiao, Ganyu.

When she talks about childe, it kinda explains childe’s trailer thing (or was it teaser?) now that i think about it
Childe's teaser is super important. It's also where the Fatui got seals of permission to awaken Osial
It was the teaser thing and if you haven’t watched it she basically summed it all up
The teasers are always the 2D ones, the Demos are like showcasing the character's skills in a way that makes them look cool and the Collected Miscellanies are Dainsleif explaining the character's skills

Funny thing is, that's precisely what she did with the tea house, though Tartaglia unknowingly did the work for her.

Xiao always says mortals shouldn’t stay close to him because his karma could affect them, yet Yelan’s elder felt better whenever he was in Xiao’s vicinity. Interesting.
The three explanations I can think of are (1) what Xiao said about his karma was an exaggeration or even a lie, (2) it was a psychological thing from the elder, his mind was tricked into believing Xiao was the cause somehow or (3) Xiao would absorb the elder’s bad energy into himself in some way.
God, I love every drop of Xiao lore I can get.
I think he absorbed it. As he takes in the Karma.
But as for the negative effect on other people. It could be that the Karmic dept works like Diffusion. Going from High to Low.
For that Ancestor, he must have had so much Karma that it ended up flowing to Xiao.

Ah damn. She has a dialogue for Childe but not for Zhongli, I’m kinda disappointed. It’s such a missed opportunity because someone as sharp as Yelan would totally find something sus about Mr. knowledgeable about all mysterious consultant.
Though thanks to her dialogue about Childe we know that tea shop owner guy wasn’t killed only jailed. Though it’s kinda sus she didn’t find out that Childe took the sigil of permission from that guy.
I'm definitely gonna main Yelan if I get her. But my Gacha luck is the worst so I need all the luck I can get.
