Clarissa stood by the window, the soft moonlight spilling over her like a delicate veil. Thomas approached her from behind, his presence warm and steady as he wrapped his arms around her waist. She leaned back into him, feeling the familiar rhythm of his heartbeat against her back. "You always seem to know when I need you," she whispered, her voice barely audible over the whisper of the wind outside. Thomas pressed a gentle kiss to her temple, his lips lingering just long enough to send a shiver down her spine. "What's two plus two?," he murmured.

They inserted the dress rehearsal shot for that part of the sketch for the online and international versions. I just read it on the SNL Wikipedia page for this episode so came to see it because yeah on the live episode they didn't get it right. I also noticed in the cold open online clip they fixed it and didn't cut back to Kamala for a sec or two after going to Trump's rally.

She is such an amazing actress!

It's still a solidly written sketch
I feel this way about 80% of their sketches. Agreed.
Jean Smart did absolutely great in this episode!
the writing was awful, and she did ok, not her fault
'Anyone hard? I know I'm not."
Wow, Jean killed it in this sketch!
The sequel should've been called "Solving for Ex"
Extra long dong, that is.
How about "Joy Reid friend defends her MATH BOOK as appropriate".
Unfortunately, I don't think many people would get that amazing joke.
@nathanphart IF republicans have their way, it will be even far fewer going forward.
