    We covered our pergola to watch tv inside. Love it 😍.
    We used one of our old TVs and strapped it to our post without drilling using the ZeboZAP. This way we didn’t have to drilling into our cedar pergola.

    How about winter the weight of the snow, will that be an issue

    • @CoverYourPergola
      @CoverYourPergola  2 года назад

      The sheets are designed to handle up to 40 pounds per square foot on a structure with the optimal slope and correct rafter spacing. On average, dry, fluffy snow weighs about 4psf, and wet snow can weigh up to 13psf. Most houses can handle up to 20psf, so our material will likely hold up longer than the structure it covers.

    If you add sloped rafters on top of a flat pergola, that leaves a space between the SkyPoly and the existing wooden slats for birds to nest. It seems like the wooden slats would need to be removed before the sloped rafters were installed so birds would have no place to nest.

    • @rytas
      @rytas 2 года назад +4

      In the videos, during installation, you can see the installers walking on top of it with little-to-no flexing of the material. They weigh more than any amount of snow that would fall in that one spot. So, my semi-educated guess is yes it will.

      The Hercules System has our most inclusive 10 year warranty. It guarantees the sheets will not leak at the seams, turn yellow, or become brittle. The sheets are guaranteed for hail up to ¾” in diameter penetrating even a single layer. Anything larger than that should be covered by your home owners insurance.
