"What about your driver?" "Oh no he died. He's super dead." "(quietly) ...what?" I felt we were overdue for a new Trampy movie, and once again you made it very much worth the wait. The argument that Thomas had with the policeman while Bob desperately tried to keep the peace was a brilliant piece of writing. I also like how Thomas calls Toby old, only for Toby to take the insult and run away with it. (And I noticed Thomas called him 'Tony' at the crossing... that was a great small detail showing Thomas didn't care at all about Toby at that moment!) You writing continues to impress me! And you *always* make the waiting worth it!!
Ok this is the funniest Trampy movie yet. And the one with the most range. We went from the depressing sight of Toby and Henrietta worrying about their uncertain future, to Thomas having it out with the policeman. Also that dream sequence with the other engines was so fucking funny. Another BANGER of an adaptation my friend. Well done.
11:04 "Thomas? A violation?" "Wow. I didn't know I had it in me." I love how Thomas seems so unlikeable throughout this whole video, but starts to show respect for Toby when he realizes how much of a grandpa he is. This is definitely one of my favorite Trampy movies to date. I love the edits for one thing as they feel pretty real and second, I love how well characterized everyone is from Topham to the policeman. Also, the addition of having Toby go in front of Thomas makes a lot more sense than having Thomas just hear about Toby weeshing the policeman. Thomas' dream sequence was also a funny addition with James saying "Oh, you're dead! " I gotta say I love how entertaining and fun this one was! I love this series, man.
@@Rick123X_4 I actually think this story takes place possibly in 1951, as that’s when toby, canonically arrived on sodor in the books, but then again trampy hasn’t specified a year of when this show takes place.
@calebc.2290 It gets more confusing when Henry says, "I shouldn't be here" stating that he's still at Crew works which happened in 1935, or maybe Henry's rebuild took two decades to be completed just so toby arrives in the 50s.

Love the ending scene and how Toby quickly earned Thomas' respect. XD And Thomas and Bob just POPPING OFF at that officer - they're really more alike than I think they'd wanna admit. LET'S LAUGH AT THOMAS AGAIN!
The scene with the engines laughing at Thomas in his imagination had me in stitches. Edit: Also, I just noticed how Topham's butler just bursts through the door and talks like a fucking Smiling Friends character XD

That's a nice surprise. -Toby never had an accident, huh? ...Oh if only he knew. -Lady Hatt seems to just have a knack for calling old coaches beachhouses. -I LOVE the conversations Sir Topham Hatt and Toby have during all this. it really contributes to why Toby was brought to the railway in the first place. -Everything about the policeman confrontation was hilarious. Not even Bob was having this! Also great to see Thomas' attitude once again. -"SILENCE". ...something tells me that will be a reoccuring phrase. -A dream sequence about Thomas's cowcatchers. Did not expect that. Heh. -The end with Thomas and Toby wrapped this movie in a nice little bow. Absolutely wonderful, Trampy! No matter how long you take, I'm always pleased by your work.
20:24 Bruh Thomas is just as insecure as James and I love it Edit: now this makes me wish Kyle could make/include more stories about some of the other’s backstories that explore their lives before Sodor. Thomas: Probably bullied by some his brothers and sisters and probably large tender engines like Gordon cause he was small and an E2 class during his LBSC days. Edward: During his Furness days he was probably just like Gordon. Proud, egotistical and snobbish at first but over the years he became more mature and wiser. Henry: We already know Gordon: Maybe some of his Doncaster brothers were bullying him as he is the prototype A1 and the other A1/A3’s called him outdated and useless particularly a B12 called him a “Mongrel” which made Gordon so upset that he’s hell bent to prove to everyone that he IS the fastest and strongest engine ever built. James: Probably only handled goods work his entire working life and only took passenger trains rarely and wants to be mostly a really useful passenger train and not just “another goods engine”. Percy: Maybe an entire flashback story of Percy’s pre Sodor days on GWR. All dirty, scrapped paint, other engines bumping him rudely and even the controller was a snooty dipshit.
@@warsthemarvel8608, Thomas is not insecure! But neither is James. But let me tell you who is, if anyone’s insecure, it’s really Lucy Van Pelt, since she’s even more insecure than Charlie Brown, even though she stubbornly does not know it.
Making Lady Hatt absolutely rude instead of a polite older lady was definitely one of the funniest stylistic decisions you’ve made so far Trampy. Along with making Thomas an even bigger asshole.

Why is this so GOOD? I discovered this by complete accident and it's nothing short of beautiful. The voice acting, the writing, the wonderful sense of humor, it's stunning. You did an amazing job on this!
I love how Trampy clearly took inspiration from those George Carlin parody dubs, where raunchy soundbites from Carlin’s audiobooks were spliced into scenes from Season 1-4 episodes that he narrated for the American market. It’s most obvious in the interactions between STH and his wife and the confrontation between Thomas, Bob, and the Policeman. Policeman: “Engines going on public roads must have their wheels covered and a cowcatcher in front!” Thomas: “F*ck you, I don’t do that!” Policeman: “Don’t forget: if you refuse to cooperate, Mr. Policeman will beat you to death.” Bob: “Bullshit! We’ve been along here hundreds of times and never had an accident!” Policeman: "That makes it worse!" (writes "Regular Law Breaker" in his book, and Thomas puffs away) Thomas: "F*ck that lame-ass cop!"
You know, if Toby's relationship dynamic with Thomas is shaping up to be this good, especially with how Toby knew exactly how to talk to Thomas the moment he felt his vibe and started laughing when he realized it, Rolling with Thomas's snide remarks, spiralling ut out of control, and even "saying hello" to the policeman; then im genuinely excited to see how James in a Mess, Wooly Bear, and Ghost Train playout, with Cow's being the magnum opus of Toby's personality.
I just rewatched all the previous movies over the last couple of days, so this is very welcome timing. I love the wholesome dynamic between Toby and Henrietta, and the distinct personalities you give to all the characters, even the minor ones. I particularly like how consistent Thomas's character has been across the series, but maybe he'll finally start to mature with Toby around and actually learn to like some of his colleagues.
The contrast between Toby and Henrietta being the “ideal, elderly couple” versus the Mr & Mrs Hatt having an “interesting” dynamic is quite entertaining
You really had me at the mention of Henry's absence during Thomas' fantasy sequence, which killed me myself with Thomas the Tram Engine rolling along 😂
Considering how Thomas said, “Everyone will laugh, sir” in his conversation with Sir Topham Hatt after the policeman argument, in the original story, and Trampy perfectly encapsulates it into this chaotic, hilarious moment 😅
Oh my god!!! This Trampy video offically broke me!!! Toby was amazing here, I loved the interactions he has with Henrietta, truly shows how close they both are. Lady Hatt had me in stitches, she was so comedic with her sarcastic personality. And by god, Thomas screaming at the policeman is the funniest thing I've ever seen!!! 🤣 Great Trampy Video, definitely now one of my top favourites
Bob: "Thomas, please, I'll handle this." Bob proceeds to expose both him and Thomas for regularly breaking the law. Policeman: "Ah ha, a confession! That makes it worse! That means you two are regular law breakers!" Thomas: "Oh yeah, you handle that well!" Bob: "God dammit."
I don’t think I’ve ever left so hard than I did at this episode. Lady hatt’s voice was so funny. I love how she was just so obnoxious Toby and Henrietta‘s chemistry was absolutely adorable and I love the fact that you gave Henrietta a face. Thomases whole argument with the police man is so funny and then Toby just completely going along with Thomas saying he’s old is really good. Phenomenal job, keep up the great work
Kyle, honestly you cooked here. Everything is just so satisfying and the characters are just great. Toby is portrayed perfectly as a chaotic neutral grandpa and his dynamic with Henrietta works better than in the cgi series. Thomas and the policeman were the funniest scenes this episode because they Thomas was absolutely violating the guy. And the scene where Thomas day dreams about having sideplates were the cherry on top, damn even Edward made fun of him.
This episode was hilarious. Excellent work as always Trampy. I especially liked thomas and Toby's dialogue at the end. My uncle is EXACTLY like Toby there: not reacting to Thomas's jokes at all, and instead adding onto it with obvious BS that he says so casually that you almost don't realize he's joking in the moment, even though he obviously is in hindsight. Toby's driver's confused "...what?" at the end was always my reaction to such conversations I was in the same room as. Bloody hysterical. I can't wait for Toby's interactions with James, Percy, and the rest of the cast honestly. Wouldn't be surprised if he becomes my favorite character by season 2.
I can see how Toby was able to win over Thomas easily as well as respond to his snarky comments, he was just like him when he was younger, wasn’t he? You can see the similarities between the two, except Toby is older, wiser, and more mature, but still cheeky. What Thomas could be one day. A good role model to look up to.
The butler is so underrated in this. I lowkey thought he would sound like how Carlin did it, but instead he’s sounds… Dead inside and so monotone. Unrelated, but I couldn’t stop laughing after Gordon mid-laugh has to say “let’s laugh at Thomas again”! Well done Trampy, anytime you upload it brightens up my day.
It's great how Toby instantly understood how to talk to Thomas. It's such a great way to write these two. He's so much more patient with him than others, and plays into his jokes just as much as he makes them

19:25 This scene man... The way that the engines are laughing at Thomas couldn't help me to laugh as well. Trampy's laugh is so contagious.
I couldn't agreed more. :)
"Well uhmm, okay, it appears you are... uhh... you are wanted on the uhmmm... you are wanted on the telephone sir." I love that line.
And when STH gave Thomas option number 4 he immediately chose option number 1
The voice, timbre, and delivery sells me with the Butler’s role 😅

"(quietly) ...what?"
I felt we were overdue for a new Trampy movie, and once again you made it very much worth the wait. The argument that Thomas had with the policeman while Bob desperately tried to keep the peace was a brilliant piece of writing.
I also like how Thomas calls Toby old, only for Toby to take the insult and run away with it. (And I noticed Thomas called him 'Tony' at the crossing... that was a great small detail showing Thomas didn't care at all about Toby at that moment!)
You writing continues to impress me! And you *always* make the waiting worth it!!
Kind of ironic because they are actually about the same age as each other.
@@Toonrick12, Agreed.
3 things you should never do in life:
1. Ask a woman her age.

11:06 “Wow… I didn’t know I had it in me.” Perfection
Edit: Just made further into the video(19:47), even Percy and Edward couldn’t resist.
Edward's joke hurt Thomas on a deeper level 💀
Ok this is the funniest Trampy movie yet. And the one with the most range. We went from the depressing sight of Toby and Henrietta worrying about their uncertain future, to Thomas having it out with the policeman. Also that dream sequence with the other engines was so fucking funny.
Another BANGER of an adaptation my friend. Well done.

And neither have I for that matter. 😒
11:04 "Thomas? A violation?"
"Wow. I didn't know I had it in me."
I love how Thomas seems so unlikeable throughout this whole video, but starts to show respect for Toby when he realizes how much of a grandpa he is.
I don’t, I don’t understand, Thomas is, a lot of things but, surely he’s railway legal
“THOMAS THE TRAM ENGINE, ROLLING ALONG”
Gordon, - 1935 (Or 1951, replies can give an answer)
@@Rick123X_4 I actually think this story takes place possibly in 1951, as that’s when toby, canonically arrived on sodor in the books, but then again trampy hasn’t specified a year of when this show takes place.
@calebc.2290 It gets more confusing when Henry says, "I shouldn't be here"
stating that he's still at Crew works which happened in 1935,

-Henrietta has a face. The edits are really well done! ...you know what? EVERY edit is well done! Great job to everyone!

-We get to see Sir Topham Hatt's family here?

20:24 Bruh Thomas is just as insecure as James and I love it
Edit: now this makes me wish Kyle could make/include more stories about some of the other’s backstories that explore their lives before Sodor.
Henry: We already know
Gordon: Maybe some of his Doncaster brothers were bullying him as he is the prototype A1 and the other A1/A3’s called him outdated and useless particularly a B12 called him a “Mongrel” which made Gordon so upset that he’s hell bent to prove to everyone that he IS the fastest and strongest engine ever built.

Thomas being a little devil in these is one of the most consistently funny things in these movies.
More like rationally standing up for himself and kicking ass.
Policeman: “Engines going on public roads must have their wheels covered and a cowcatcher in front!”
Thomas: “F*ck you, I don’t do that!”
Policeman: “Don’t forget: if you refuse to cooperate, Mr. Policeman will beat you to death.”
Bob: “Bullshit! We’ve been along here hundreds of times and never had an accident!”
Policeman: "That makes it worse!" (writes "Regular Law Breaker" in his book, and Thomas puffs away)
Thomas: "F*ck that lame-ass cop!"
Thomas: F*ck that lame ass cop!
STH: No one should do anything to help the police, in any way.
Thomas puffed sadly away “Fuck that lame ass cop!”
That Policeman thinks he is one, when really, he isn’t.
He’s far too big for his boots.
NEW TRAMPY WHOOOO
Edit: That ending was gold, Toby is actually perfect here
I just rewatched all the previous movies over the last couple of days, so this is very welcome timing.
The deep, low voice of the Butler at 14:06 is perfect at that moment 😂
I absolutely ❤ his voice here! 😂😂😂
He Sounds Like A Damn Robot
That's what I'm saying
You really had me at the mention of Henry's absence during Thomas' fantasy sequence, which killed me myself with Thomas the Tram Engine rolling along 😂
Considering how Thomas said, “Everyone will laugh, sir” in his conversation with Sir Topham Hatt after the policeman argument, in the original story, and Trampy perfectly encapsulates it into this chaotic, hilarious moment 😅
Ugh, just don’t. 😒😠
Bob: "Thomas, please, I'll handle this."
Bob proceeds to expose both him and Thomas for regularly breaking the law.
Policeman: "Ah ha, a confession! That makes it worse! That means you two are regular law breakers!"
Thomas: "Oh yeah, you handle that well!"
Bob: "God dammit."
Bob literally screwed up that time. 😠😒
“Ok bob step aside!”

Toby's Driver saying "What?" after the whole dinosaur bit made me burst out laughing!
When the World needed him most, he returned, and he brought Toby with him too!
Thomas, Bob & the policeman’s interaction just turned this into It’s Always Sunny on the Island of Sodor and I’m living for it
The police argument scenes were absolute gold
these are always worth the wait, i really do love the way the characters act and the snap back humor.
I like how you portray toby like he did during rws as a fun loving grandfather type figure
I lowkey thought he would sound like how Carlin did it, but instead he’s sounds… Dead inside and so
monotone.
Unrelated, but I couldn’t stop laughing after Gordon mid-laugh has to say “let’s laugh at Thomas again”! Well done Trampy, anytime you upload it brightens up my day.
