The same thing happens to me. Sometimes someone will reply to my comment and youtube won't notify me. Also sometimes I leave a comment and then later it disappears.
I found out last year,I caught up or almost caught up,and I noticed day before yesterday when someone commented on an older video,other comments were on the video,I never answered.
Hey, I forgot to tell you I'm getting more fast food coupons now I get Arby's and I just got one from Dairy Queen 7 dollar meal! I got some Burger King ones last week but prices went up to! Comes in the mail it's called dollars and cents!!

I got a bunch of coupons two days in a row but still no arby's.
It may be RUclipss auto spam filter. It hides comments that aren't spam.
It must be because some people are long time subscribers and it did not show their messages.
I am offended. II made this comment in 1997 and aint heard back yet.
