  • Learn how to make an easy Valentine’s Day wreath and bow for your door!
    This is a pretty quick video, we have several other slower, more detailed tutorials on our channel!
    In this video I am showing you how we make a PULLED MESH wreath. With this technique the wreath ends up larger than most of our other styles. I add ribbon into the back ring as well as the front ring, to make the wreath fuller. This wreath will have a bow attached onto it instead of a sign.

    I love the mesh bundles on the outer ring with the ribbons because I'm not a fan of curls/tubes. I want to try this without the mesh inside because it get lost. The bow is gorgeous 😍

      It's definitely worth a try :) Adding the mesh to the wreath base is what makes the wreath full so if you don't like using mesh you may have to find an alternative to add before you add the ribbon. That way the ribbon holds a good shape...best of luck :)

    I tried to sort this in my head but how many yards total of mesh and ribbon? This is so lovely! I can't wait to make one.

    • @DesignerDIY
      @DesignerDIY  15 дней назад

      i'm not sure total yardage because I used so many different ribbons. i used about 1 2/3 yd of each of the ribbons on the back ring, 1 yard of each of the ribbons on the front ring, plus extra ribbon for the bow. Each of the mesh that I used was a 10 yard roll.

      @DesignerDIY thanks for the reply. I just can't get over how beautiful this is. I was looking for a great tutorial with lots of different mesh and ribbons I can use together and this is perfect. Thanks again 🫶

      The wreath form was a 24" base, the finished wreath was probably 26 inches when finished....

    @joannlankenau4990 LOVE this wreath!!! Can you please tell me how many strips of ribbon you cut for the first layer also how many for the second? Tia!!

    • @DesignerDIY
      @DesignerDIY  Год назад

      So that back ring uses 4 different wired ribbons. 2 ribbons per grouping. Each ribbon is 12inches.
      The front ring uses 9 different ribbons. 3 ribbons per grouping. 12 inches also.
      So for each wired ribbon...if you want to use it in the back you need 1 2/3 yds, for the front you need 1 yard of each ribbon.
      Hope this answers your question:)

      @DesignerDIY So there a set per chennel 10 on the back & 8 on the front?

    • @DesignerDIY
      @DesignerDIY  Год назад

      Yes there are 10 pine branches on the back ring and 8 on the front ring...so after adding all your mesh you'll want to ribbons in each grouping on the back ring, and 3 ribbons per grouping on the front ring :)

    This was a great tutorial. I truly enjoyed it but I did not get to enjoy the final product because you’re Saint Patrick advertisement kept blocking it, so is there anyway that you can edit that so we can actually enjoy the beautiful finish product

    This was Sooo nice to watch and I learned a new technique. Too bad I couldn’t see the finished product because it was covered up by the add for the St. Patrick’s wreath. Very disappointing

      So sorry for the inconvenience. This was a quick tiktok video we had made and just uploaded to youtube so I wasn't able to edit that part. :( We do upload all of our wreaths to our Facebook and website though.

    What you have made is pretty, but it is WAY TOO BUSY! You need some solid color in this wreath big time.
    This is so busy, my eye doesn't know where to look first.
    You have enough alternating patterns on here to make 8-wreaths.
    Pretty...but? Too busy!

      Good thing is, you can have whatever opinion you'd like, and make your wreaths however youd like :) This wreath was one of our best sellers, so to each their own. Thanks for watching.
