I have been looking for months for a decent tutorial that I could follow. Everyone I looked at was so confusing. I watched this one twice and made a 24" wreath in about 45 mins based on this video! Turned out awesome.
This Turned out so beautiful! I believe myself to be crafty I even have diy and craft videos on my channel but I’ve never made a wreath!! I’ve always wanted to. I just find them intimidating to make for some reason. I’m watching a bunch of videos trying to learn techniques. You make this look so easy. Thanks for the inspiration to try again. I’m gonna be at dollar tree first thing in the morning to get supplies. I love learning from talented creators like you!! I look forward to watching your future videos!
Thanks for the video. The help a lot! I don't know what everyone was complaining about...I like that you didn't do all that unnecessary talking in the video.
Best tutorial out there..I actually made mine in ten minutes thanks so much, all the others have you pining off every loop. You saved me a lot of money from buying one.
Thank YOU for SHARING!! I went to Wal-Mart the day before seeing your video and purchased everything YOU have to make this wreath. I choose yellow burlap instead. Can't wait to see what comes of it!!♥
so I made this wreath today. I am not a great crafter nor am I talented, but it turned out pretty good. my problem was that I didn't know how to start, so finally put the video on and sat and followed. BUT I guess I didn't space my loops out (some larger??) so I kind of ran out of burlap just before the end. but all in all, it was easy to follow, so thank you!!! after the holidays, I might take it all apart, and then make sure I make the lopps smaller. also the twists look easy, not so much. but turned out good for my first attempt!!! Happy Holidays!!!
I picked up 2 of the wire rings at the Dollar Tree today. (August 2018) They also have wire, and burlap ribbon. I would certainly want to add some sort of decoration to the wreath, but it is a nice starter.
this is a great tutorial. Can you please tell me what size burlap you used? is that an 8" wide? and it looks so lightweight and easy to use. There are sooo mnay out there when you start to shop. do you mind telling where you buy your burlap? thanks!!!
Love it..thank you my time is very limited n this wreath will be a timesaver i can use it for halloween n thanksgiving then xmas by switching out the decorations soooo awesome 😀😀
It doesnt seem like the burlap would be very secure since it is just pushed through the spaces? I would think you could pull on it and it could easily come apart? With others Ive seen pipe cleaners to hold everything together, but this doesnt seem secure to me.
Thank you for helping me learn how to make a burlap grief mine is so pretty here wish you could see it I put fall items on it right now to change the Christmas
Hi quick question . I've recently learned to make a mesh wreath. I want to do a burlap wreath. My door is very tall and I have to do (2) 30 in wire frames. Should I buy the 4 in burlap? Or the one that is wider?? Thanks
Is there a specific type of burlap that should be used. I noticed there are different kinds.. ie* Tree wrap burlap, landscaping burlap, architectural burlap??
What does the twist do? seems like it just wastes material. I make them this way but just with no twist. I wasn't sure what I am missing by not adding the twist.
Best tutorial I’ve watched yet. I’ve been doing wreaths for 2 years and still run into problems. This video was simple easy and quick. Thanks
I agree no complex problems, very easy
Love it!!! I love that you arent wasting my time with a 15 minute tutorial also! Thank you so much.

Thank you, this was fun to make video was easy to follow.
Well I seen you wire it on, seen the twists. And REALLY appreciate the video. I can’t always follow....good job
you didn't show how you secured the first part of the burlap on the first twist half of the wreath was out of frame
Depressed Cricket EXACTLY!!🥺🥺
The most important part. I dont see it either
I didn't see either. I just stuck the wire through the bunched burlap and around the first ring of the wreath frame. Hopefully this helps.
Hi, could you show us how you add differant colors into the wreath? So they look like the burlap loops? Thank you so much
Thank you so much for this video and extra tips! It was exactly what I was looking for! My wreath turned out perfect! Thanks again!

How many loops per section? What size wire wreath are you using? ty
This is what I needed thank you so much 😘😘😘
Is it possible to use mesh using this same method?
awalker91180 yes ive done one
Love it but how do u secure it ?
It doesnt seem like the burlap would be very secure since it is just pushed through the spaces? I would think you could pull on it and it could easily come apart? With others Ive seen pipe cleaners to hold everything together, but this doesnt seem secure to me.
its pretty secure for me anyway, 'cause you make two sets of loops in the same little space, so they bunch up pretty tight.
Thank you for helping me learn how to make a burlap grief mine is so pretty here wish you could see it I put fall items on it right now to change the Christmas
TY Quick and Simple❤👍🏽
Great viedo! I appreciate how fast because a 10 -12 min tutorial is just painful to sit through! How much burlap?
Hi quick question . I've recently learned to make a mesh wreath. I want to do a burlap wreath. My door is very tall and I have to do (2) 30 in wire frames. Should I buy the 4 in burlap? Or the one that is wider?? Thanks
Great tutorial!!
Love this! Looks easy :)
How to tie the burlap on the wireframe? It's too quick to watch clearly
I used floral wire to secure the burlap to the frame. You only need to secure it at the beginning (0:24) and at the end (1:50).
çake making
to quick to watch
How do I use the floral wire to secure it ? Just twist it to burlap n then to wire frame ? Gosh I want to make but afraid I won’t secure properly
Burlap Wreath how do we use the floral wire? Just twist the burlap to the wire n then to the wire on the wreath? I’m a beginner
wow, very practical to use
Gotcha! Thx for sharing, I hope mine turns out. It will have pink polka dots on it!
Is there a specific type of burlap that should be used. I noticed there are different kinds.. ie* Tree wrap burlap, landscaping burlap, architectural burlap??
What is the width of the burlap you are using?
Can you combine more than one color when doing this without making it too difficult?
Would this work with tulle and organza? Are you securing as you go?
How many yards of burlap did it take to do the 12" wreath?
Holly Chu A 12" wreath takes between 20 and 25 feet.
How many sets of loops per divided section on the ring are you adding?
Od c o
What size wreath, what size of burlap, and how much burlap did u use? Need more info.
would basic twist ties work for securing the burlap to the wreath form?.
VERY BEAUTIFUL I LOVE IT
omg. im generally pretty crafty but i just cannot get how to do these .
Me either & it has to be step by step for beginners or it's really difficult!
what a very useful video
great tutorial
How big was the wreath? I got an 18" wreath and ran out of the 20 ft of burlap about 1/2 way through. Did I do something wrong or is that about right?
Debra Manter you just need to add more burlap, start it again the same way, as in the begining, at the section you ran out of burlap.
I Love It!!!
Thx enjoyed learning from your video
Hey cool video! Keep it up!
Here is a followup video to answer some common questions Making a Burlap Wreath | Tips and Tricks
Gorgeous
How many yards of burlap ribbon does this take?
After the 3 loops and before the twist how do you keep the ribbon from pulling back through
I found the wreath ring at dollar tree for $1.00
Me too! I got 2, I was so excited.
wow! It's been a while since you posted finding the wreaths at the dollar tree but I'm going to see if they have them now.
They also have it at Wal-Mart for 1.77
dollar tree also carries fun shapes in the wreath forms - i know at xmas they usually have candy cane wreath ring forms
@@percyperanamus7432 Ive seen cross wreath frames as well.
Can anyone please answer...can a wreath like this survive on an outer door that's exposed to the elements? mostly rain.
Burlap will hold up very well to all kinds of weather.
Its not clear what you are doing with the wire, is it just threaded with the burlap? do you twist the wire around the twist you do in the back?
What does the twist do? seems like it just wastes material. I make them this way but just with no twist. I wasn't sure what I am missing by not adding the twist.
So cool
Do you just need one roll of burlap? How many inches?
How much ribbon is on the spool of burlap ribbon? I'm curious as to how much ribbon I will need.
Tracy Hicks I believe its 15 ft. per roll
