Raspberry pi with a EVM2000 projector will reboot in loop when the power supply is not adequate

In this video, a raspberry pi is connected to a evm2000 dlp projector with a 1A power supply not generating enough current to drive both devices. The raspi falls in a reboot loop. When a 3.5A power supply is connected, the raspi is able to boot and swtich to projection mode. It takes a 30ishh seconds for the raspi to boot... but the result is somewhat worth waiting, pi on screen !
