As a Falcons fan, I am HAPPY to have Cousins here. I was, and STILL a little skeptical about how he might perform in the post season. After watching this, I find myself suddenly defending Cousins like he’s been here for 10 years. Regarding Stephen A, and the annoying woman on the show, they were all saying the same thing about Matt Stafford when he was traded to LA. I will also add that there have been lesser QBs that have WON SBs - Brad Johnson & Trent Dilfer are the first ones that come to mind (I’m old). Stephen A is factoring in our record over the last six seasons. Had he actually WATCHED our games over the last 3 seasons, he would know that the majority of our losses have mostly been one score games - with a QB room that was the worst in the league! I don’t think it’s a given that we will make the NFCCG, but it’s nowhere NEAR as far fetched as Stephen A and the gentlewoman are making it out to be. Had they actually WATCHED our games over the last few seasons, and not watched highlights on their network and making their judgement off stats, they would easily see that this team AS-IS, was a QB away from winning a playoff game. As a Falcons fan, I am HAPPY to have Cousins here. I was, and STILL a little skeptical about how he might perform in the post season. After watching this, I find myself suddenly defending Cousins like he’s been here for 10 years.
Regarding Stephen A, and the annoying woman on the show, they were all saying the same thing about Matt Stafford when he was traded to LA. I will also add that there have been lesser QBs that have WON SBs - Brad Johnson & Trent Dilfer are the first ones that come to mind (I’m old).
Stephen A is factoring in our record over the last six seasons. Had he actually WATCHED our games over the last 3 seasons, he would know that the majority of our losses have mostly been one score games - with a QB room that was the worst in the league!
I don’t think it’s a given that we will make the NFCCG, but it’s nowhere NEAR as far fetched as Stephen A and the gentlewoman are making it out to be. Had they actually WATCHED our games over the last few seasons, and not watched highlights on their network and making their judgement off stats, they would easily see that this team AS-IS, was a QB away from winning a playoff game. The two moves on defense, this week, give them a great coupling to what will surely be one of the most dynamic offenses in the league.
Considering all of that, and the conference that we belong to, yeah, maybe being a SB contender is not so far fetched.
Stephen A will regret this 🤣. Dan is right today. He was on a roll all day!

Kirk is at best 13-16. Kirk isn’t top ten. He’s really good but that’s it. He had an amazing career for a fourth round pick but he’s not top ten. And there’s nothing wrong with that. I personally thought the raiders should have signed Kirk. There fan base is fine with just making the playoffs. Every couple of years.
Replace Stafford for Purdy and Rodgers for Hurts and it would be hard to argue aside from maybe swapping one spot in the order 2-10. Kirk COULD be anywhere from 9-15 if healthy this year to be fair.
