    The Tempo Studio is the latest smart home gym amongst many. I have personally tested and reviewed nearly every one of their competitors on the market from Tonal, Peloton, Mirror, Nordictrack Vault, and many others.
    In this Tempo Studio Review, I detail what it’s been like to workout on over the past 6 months. I compare it to the competition, and give feedback on things that I think can be improved.
    The Smart Home Gym Revolution has just begun…in my opinion. This is one of the leading entrants.

      Its about the demographic and similar to peloton, it’s geared toward the at home or dad or a work from home setting where getting to the gym might be tough. Also people who may have anxiety working out in front of others. I agree its too expensive

      @@hrshy491777 Yeah, but even for that you just need a floor, and some bar stuck somewhere high enough.
      And that's for free.
      Also for 2500 you could have a good home gym traditional setup.
      This thing is a fail. The only ones who'd buy this are fitness equipment aficionados like coop and semi professional athletes.

      I think all of you guys bashing this because all you need is "a floor and a bar" might not be thinking about the normal person like me who wants a trainer, wants to get in shape, but doesn't want to hang around all the massive lifters down at the gym. So many of you long-time lifters have been doing it for so long, it all seems second nature to you, but its not that way for everyone. This is who the Tempo is geared for, not you guys.

    I sent mine back. There is a common glitch (loose wire connection) that does not allow new users to set up (even with "White Glove" delivery). Customer service was horrible...they wanted us to do a zoom call with a tech and work on it ourselves (gave us a list of tools to have on hand!) Bottom line...not worth it, but the soft close hinges are Awesome! The return process was a joke, but we got it done after 2 months.

      The reviews I've read on the mirror are negative in that the images of the trainers are so small on screen you have to squint to see them well. The images on the Tempo, on the other hand, are much larger and easier to follow their instructions and mimic their form. I'd stick with your Tempo mainly for that reason.@@GarageGymReviews

I do not enjoy classes where you can have horrible form and not be corrected. The Personal Trainers on the Mirror are TOPs in their industry. I think I find these "technology" advancements fascinating, interesting to stay on top of, etc and get that there's probably a market for it.... and know that I will likely never be the target demographic for these total gym things. But knowledge is power, the more you know, knowing is half the battle and all that. So sure, do a review once in a while, just don't dominate your content with this type of stuff.

    Why making this all in one piece of equipment vs just having this as an app, chrome cast it to a TV, pay your subscription and buy maybe their 3D camera which will connect via bluetooth to your phone... easier pill to swallow for your wallet and you more versatile since you can maybe update your phone or TV for a better experience.

    Please review virtual reality workouts Coop! Would make a great video an oculus is $300 and it's a fully immersive experience. I think the value is there as you can go subscription or the one-time purchase game route... Even Dana white president of the UFC says the thrill of the fight game is a great workout.

  • @cussyrichards6121
    @cussyrichards6121 2 года назад +9

    I think Tonal kills this. It offers advanced features with the motorized resistance (like adjusting resistance curves and eccentric overload) that you genuinely can't do on your own with free weights and can actually help with hypertrophic or performance outcomes. This is just a TV with RUclips, a webcam and dumbbells that are going to be too light for most male trainees.

      While I can agree with and see your side I think it also comes down to what you have room for. I would have gone with a tonal if I could fit it in the only space I had available for it. That and I'm about to have a kid this winter and need something at the house to do whenever I get a chance to as I need to maintain my fitness for my job. So my options were limited. However for what it is, I can still make the most of it and it by no means is a bad smart home gym setup

    Been watching recently quite a few of your videos as looking to find best way to get fit at home. Dont know your full story, but no offence, i am surprised that for a person who seems to have all equipment one can dream about, you are quite slender... is that your choice of not wanting to put more muscle mass on?
