Gosh..bread is ridiculous price these days..buy bread flour, or just plain flour and buy yourself little sachets of yeast, oil, water...or make a mother and use that to raise your dough.. ...so many great easy bread recipes on Google, it has no preservatives so needs to be eaten all up in 2 or 3 days Max...but the smell of it cooking, it's never a problem.... and you can use it to make pizza bases, rolls, flat breads....❤👍👍🇦🇺

There is a list from the government that lists companies using child labor to make items from companies like Temu. I wouldn’t encourage anyone to purchase from this China owned company. Inferior ingredients are used as well. Why do we always have to look for the cheapest made items? Try to buy American when possible. I know it can be difficult. We don’t need to give China more and more when all they do is take and take. 🙏

Pattie in watching you this morning I have to tell you this .The new natural color of your hair that your growing out is so perfect for your completion .I noticed the same thing when I grew mine out.Please let it grow out before you cut and you’ll be amazed at how many compliments you ll enjoy.

Baby aspirin thins the blood and can contribute to easier bruising. I'm in it due to bone marrow cancer and have increased bruising.
Bone marrow cancer makes you bruise easily too... but there are more treatments, stay positive...a strong and positive mind is half the battle with cancer. ❤❤
@@lynettefinnigan9540 thank you for your positive reply! I have myelofibrosis, the most rare type of bone marrow/blood cancer. I take aspirin daily to prevent clots if my white blood cells/platelets increase, hydroxyurea to help all other blood cells production and iron to fight anemia. Being diagnosed was a shock, but I'm almost used to it after 2 1/2 years!
I initially liked the idea of Temu. I do all my shopping online since I became legally blind and really can't see things in stores. I need a written description or a video presentation where like on a shopping channel. But people who are a LOT more tech savvy than I am warn that installing the Temu app is risky in that it collects more data than the usual snoops. Also, even if Target or Walmart are selling the same stuff for a higher price, at least I'm helping to support the jobs of the people who work there when I buy from them. Temu reminds me of the business model Walmart employed when they first hit the scene. Undercut the competition until you drive them out of business, then raise your prices once you're the only game in town.

I used Bear Minerals when it first came out. It was all natural, but when they were bought out, the formula was changed, and my skin reacted in a negative way. I would and never will use it again.
Temu sells some identical products to Amazon. So, in many cases you’re just cutting out the middle man.
Can you do a video on what to do when your hand shakes so much that it is hard to tight line or doing anything around eyes?
I don't do Temu. I found them a couple of years ago, and I purchase many items from them. I recently found out that the company used child labor to make their products. I stopped buying from Temu.
My former husband was a robot engineer and he worked for all the biggest brands in Italy, and Europe. What if I told you everything we purchase comes from the same places? to say it's made in Italy or England or USA, is actually a legal detail. It has to be finalised in the country, not necessarily produced. So you may be induced to think you are buying local and then you are not! BTW Amazon uses the same producers as Temu.
As far as TEMU goes the price may be cheap but what you get is cheap. I bought my granddaughter several size 2T outfits which is the same size she wears from anywhere else and they were so big they looked horriable. I thought we’ll maybe this is just a fluke so I ordered again same thing. The material was cheap . I put them in the garbage . I wouldn’t give them away. Last Christmas I ordered 2 Christmas decorations. When my husband and and I opened them we laughed. So cheaply made. TEMU FOR ME IS NO MORE. It’s a joke.
I have a friend that hand-makes Christmas decorations and cards. They cost her between $8 -16 just to buy all the materials, she doesn't count her time, as she loves doing it and does it all year long (like some people knit or sew or paint...its a hobby for her), so if it's quality and well made, it's going to be more expensive than the prices the quoted on temu... I stay well away from that cheap rubbish. Even if you're lucky enough to get something that actually works, it will only last a month!!
If it ever lasts a month! I bought clothes for the grandkids at lrg store in area and washed (delicate cold) before giving to wear, right (?), they all fell apart. Literally with a few buttons left in the washer! I’m sorry to hear about your experience but grateful for your sharing, that way I know it’s not just me. And not worth trying again! Thank you 😊
@kimparcel4267 I never heard of TEMU until I saw another RUclips channel and the woman talked about TEMU constantly buying stuff from them. The other day a RUclips channel popped up with a warning NOT to buy from TEMU or download the APP
they get all your private information. From what I saw from TEMU
it looks like junk and who knows the chemicals in the paint is not safe. I believe its China based.

I too read an article about Temu and I will not buy from them again. The article was saying that everything comes from China and that they take all your information and to be very careful about how you pay for things. I only ordered twice but I'm done. The last few times I’ve watched your program it seems as though you’ve changed your format. You’re promoting more products and not really talking about your life, family, shopping , your travels, etc. I miss the former and hope you’ll return to how your show use to be.
I’ve never ordered from Temu and never will. I see so many Temu hauls pop up on RUclips and it amazes me how much people order from them. A lot of it is junk to me. Including the clothing. I might spend more on my purchases but I’m all about quality over quantity …. As the old saying goes “You get what you pay for” …. I watched a RUclips video from a lady a while back who was talking about really wanting a certain brand of mascara (I won’t mention brand) that costs around $25.00. She kinda mumbled that she didn’t want to pay that much then proceeded to change the subject. I wanted to say so bad if you wouldn’t spend all that you do on Temu (plus a few other places she gets weekly hauls from) that you could purchase that mascara. I’d never be rude enough to say it but I was thinking it. I just wish people wouldn’t get sucked into purchasing things they don’t even need … It’s an addiction …

Personally I wouldn't touch Temu with a ten foot pole. Firstly, the unbelievably low prices makes me very suspicious about the wages that people are being paid to make the stuff. Secondly and to your point about credit card fraud, more and more people are claiming their financial information has been hacked after ordering from Temu. It's just not worth the gamble.
I know two people who ordered from TEMU. Their orders took forever to come and the items were not as described. I know and believe that if it sounds too good to be true, it probably. is.
I just came across this product that is available on Amazon. I just ordered it, so I can’t say if it works, but I wanted to share the name of this lotion. Do be aware if you are concerned about spiking blood glucose that the Hero bread site says: “Does hero bread affect blood sugar levels?
Hero Bread also has modified wheat starch, which spikes blood glucose levels, even if it doesn't contain carbs. So if you're a diabetic and doing keto to keep your blood sugar as low as possible, limit your Hero Bread consumption.”
The bread actually does contain carbohydrates - 11 g per slice. But there are 11 g of fiber per slice, so the NET carbs = 0.

I’m 61 and that’s how I learned to apply foundation waaaay back in the day. I rarely wear makeup now.
Don't do Temu any more...I consider them dollar tree quality...besides China has forced labor and child labor....don't need these products......my opinion only...love your videos...love your attitude....
The one thing that really shortens the length of my bruises is Arnicare gel! I tried the cream, but the gel is better. It absorbs quickly and really works!
TEMU is a Chinese company. I try not to buy anything from Chinese companies. It’s hard but I like to buy American when I can.
are you on blood thinners? that makes it worse with bruises . FYI I ordered from TEMU before I knew it was China,but also I found out the actual products are packaged and shipped in the US! still I gave them my Visa number to do the one time order,can't unring the bell!

I started baking bread during COVID. My husband and I got hooked on homemade bread. It's easier than I thought it would be to bake all our bread. I mention this because homemade bread is healthier and tastes better than store bought plus you know exactly what's in it. You can make sourdough (my favorite), whole grain, gluten free, sugar free - the options are endless once you learn the process. Just a suggestion from a fellow bread lover, you may want to try it.
Justin Leconte is also a content creator here on utube. Whe is a fashion designer. She has a video out of these countries who sell Temu, Shein and many others. If anyone want to watch it, it is very ete opening to the point I can't bring myself to buy from Shein anymore. I say Shein because that is the only one I ha e bought from.
I noticed that you put a link to the Amlactin 12%. I have been using it for about 6 months with good results. There's also a 15% and as soon as I finish the current bottle of 12%, I am upping to the 15%, after getting the ok from my dermatologist. Just a little fyi for those trying it. Really has been a game changer for me in the ugly bruise battle.

3. I have always used dots, and a damp cloth after, since high school. Looks great on you.
4. Take extra garlic to lower LDL easy!
5. There is so much of this low-carb stuff on the market that they make the specs look good but they are not true. The ingredients are what is important. The video finishes I will go look it up and appreciate your exposure.
6.Blood thinners cause easy bruising from a bag on your arm, etc.
7.Temu...love it!!! If you have your credit card out on Amazon, etc... My credit card is out on Amazon and Etsy and others... Being on Temu is no different to me... it's all AI. I am cutting out the greedy two or three Middle Men by buying from them things that I want and make my life easier but cannot afford because of all the Middle Men
China's economy is failing to because of the US dollar collapse so so I say by while you can because these prices won't last.

Also if you're doing keto or low carb, like myself, net carbs mean nothing. You have to count total carbs. Plus it has canola oil which is a bad oil and very inflammatory.
Hello Patti, I have followed your channel for years even before you were married to Jim. I have used Bare Minerals powder foundation in the past and loved it but I am willing to try the liquid foundation. Did you find that it settle into lines and wrinkles? I love that colour lipstick you wear. It lights up your whole face, I actually use this brand in the colour Totally Toffee and I love it. Will continue to follow you as I have a new left hip and waiting on the next operation for the right one. I’ve had breast cancer but felt better after watching your videos as you are so honest in your opinions that I feel I can trust your opinions. Love to you and Jim ❤❤

I'm one of those with ugly bruising, all over my arms and legs. This is so embarrassing. Some is from bumping myself and some are spontaneous breakage of veins, I have seen several Doctors and they keep telling me it's just old age. People look at me like I'm from Mars. I even had a child say to her Mommy, "What's wrong with that lady?" I'm 76 years old and in good shape otherwise. Covering these burses is impossible, there are too many and some are very large.
I get really big ones also. I’ve found arnica gel does help a little to get fade them faster and a retinol cream on top. Arnica seems to be a little drying.

I believe sugar in the enemy of ALL of us. Fortunately for me, I do not crave bread (I crave sugar). Now that I am diabetic, I rely heavily on meat. I love meat. I eat low carb but going to try carnivore diet...hearing alot of good things about it..your right about sugar being the enemy
I hope you can look objectively at your glorious silver hair & how flattering it is to your eye color. There are women in the process of transitioning who would love to have that color! Absolutely beautiful.
I’ve been using the “Dot” method for my foundation for the past year or so. It’s amazing that you can get beautiful coverage with so much less. I use a kabuki brush to apply. (I’m a Patti as well.)
Glad to see your hair natural, at 80, it is so becoming- the bruises, from an 81 year old, I get them once in a while, not often, they say baby’s aspirin daily causes them. Plus some are more vulnerable than others - my sister who sadly has passed away, said our skin got thinner.

I do that with my foundation dot it. Also try Dave’s Power Seed it’s 0 also . They come in small and large.

I am 72 and I am going to try that AmLactin. I bruise easily. Also my skin seems thinner and when I bump into something my skin tears like wet tissue paper. No fun.
I saw an article this morning. Says you should be very careful when ordering from temu. Said they have had a whole lot of complaints about them and that they might possibly do something with your info, not receiving what you ordered and shipping problems. I don't think I will be using them. And the amlactin is at Walmart. I have seen how inexpensive the items are on Temu and they look like good products RUclips subscribers receive but I'm just worried about my info getting shared . I just heard you tell about getting the Visa card to avoid giving your personal info out so that is a great idea. I never thought about that. Sorry I wrote my comment before I saw that
Just an FYI.....I have ordered from Temu at least five times and have never had an issue with any of the orders. I've received each order within 7-8 days of ordering and they keep the customer informed as to each step of the order, from shipping to date of receipt.

You are so right about labor conditions (and wages) around the world. I am very lucky and privileged that I can afford to pay more for products and I try to buy products made in the US whenever I can. Yes, they usually cost quite a bit more. That's because people here are paid more. It's also because our business owners here (I'm talking medium and large business, not your smaller mom & pop shops) make absurdly more than our average workers working in that same business. Wages in the US need to be generally higher.
Anyway! I don't judge people who can't afford to pay more for items. I realize many or most people need to watch every penny. The whole situation is upsetting and sad -- and companies are stupid, because if they paid workers more, workers could afford to buy more expensive items. It's truly win-win. Same for universal health care. If we had health care in this country that was never tied to your employer, that would allow everyone to have it and we'd be a healthier, most humane nation, where no one incurs medical debt or has to go bankrupt then they have major medical issues. That would help all employers and all workers.

I always love your videos I wear very little make up (foundation on a hot day as in 112 just does not work)! But I still love listening to you -30.00 is way to much for bread --I make my own sour dough which is excellent for anyone who wants to stay gluten free as sour dough is pretty much gluten free White flour creates inflammation as does meat/dairy/and cheese I am vegan and like to know what is in my food and bread making is fun I am lucky I do not bruise- Chinese stuff is junk I prefer thrift shopping and only wear cotton and natural fibers Thank you for your all your hard work!!

Temu is awful! Harmful to employees, the consumer, and the environment. These fast fashion, furniture, and cheap product companies should be banned for the damage caused. Please do research. They are making an already dire situation worse.

I’ve ordered from Temu several times, all craft supplies. I have to agree that a lot of the products we buy at our national craft supply stores come from China. I’m torn. One thing I’ve found is the dies for card making from Temu are total knock offs of our American made creators…and they’re a fraction of the price and just as good. Yup, I’m torn, about a lot of things when it comes to Temu.

I always use a pre-paid credit card where ever I order. Not only is it safer, but you only spend what you load on there. Plus, I am not carrying high balances on my credit cards, and the more you charge, the higher the interest! Yes there's a fee for loading the card and a minimum of $20.00 to load.
