I have been onto your RUclips channel one day by accident, and that prove yet again to me that most of the best things come to us by accident! I love how you show us skin care after 80 although I’m 73 myself, because the products you suggest that I have tried our wonderful especially the elixir oil that you use every day and so do I now. Please don’t ever let negative comments get to you. You should continue to do what you do, make your face as beautiful as possible every day no matter the age we are, and probably that comment came from someone in her 40s or 50s you think they’re gonna look like that forever! Boy, what a big surprise is comingfor them. I love what you’re doing. I love seeing how you do your make up and how to hide things that we don’t like. I love your wardrobe and I love hearing about your life. Please stay with us always, we love you!

I live in Sweden and I have a tiny summer house on an island. There are many bugs, mosquitoes and wasps there. I am terrified of wasps. I like to keep the front door open so I found the same screen curtains that you have many years ago. I am now on my second pair since they do get torn. It has saved me from many mosquito bites but it does let the neighbours cat in when he wants to visit.
I pray I look as beautiful as you do when I turn 80. I am 60 now and I think you look 65. You are on point with your fashion and your makeup looks natural. Simply GORGEOUS❤

Yes, ma’am I have heard of those little half socks, and have used them for a couple of years! I use either Vaseline or shea butter or castor oil on the silicone inner heel. Love them and they keep my feet so soft, at almost 80.
My DIL gave us both a Tervis cup when we moved into our new house on the lake, 15 years ago. Husband uses his for coffee every day, and I use mine for water. They have a cute patch that says “Life is better on the Lake”, between the 2 portions. They are still perfect!

Flowers are my favorite in the world! I have filled my beds with perennials, so at almost 80 I don’t have so much maintenance. I have just picked 2 large bunches of buttercups for the house. I always count them, because I know how many fill my favorite vases! Is that weird?
We tried that screen and it just didn’t work for us. At the time we had 2 large, hyper dogs, that went in and out multiple times a day, and it just didn’t last, therefore, we have flies, wasps, carpenter bees, mosquitoes, etc. all spring, summer, fall.

Patti, I have never been a shopper! Sister loves it and even just loves to window shop. Now, my back, hips, and feet prevent it, even if I wanted to. I do grocery shopping, some, but husband does most of it, especially since a serious illness, almost 2 years ago, that has prevented me from physically doing so many things. I can still shop from Amazon, (way too much)! At least I can sit and do my crochet, needle punch and embroidery! I AM getting better, slowly but surely. Glory be to God!

Hi Patti, I was using a Franklin Planner 30 years ago. Although I no longer use a planner, I have a notebook (5"x 7") that I constantly write in every day. I'm definitely a list maker and probably always will be. The act of writing something down does help with remembering things. I use my cell phone too for appointments, etc., but I'll never give up some kind of notebook. I had to laugh when you talked about how you write things down 😊 Enjoy the rest of your Sunday, Sharon

I too am a planner and schedule everything. I used the Franklin planner in the corporate world. Now I just keep a pad of paper for to do list. I also keep a master calendar and a duplicate pocket calendar in case I’m out and need to make an appointment.
If I’m taking a trip I make a packing list while I’m watching TV. If I don’t I’ll forget something.

Makeup application has changed so much. Just so hard to get it right, i.e., enlarged pores, dry spots, watery eyes, skinny lips (just to name a few). I don’t believe my expectations are too high. Honestly Patti, the spray and towel..then you have a towel to wash!! One of those 'Switch' mats is the best!! I have a small one to travel and to rub dry brushes to change colours.. and a large one that a squirt of liquid hand wash, or even a bar of soap... warm water and give them a rub on the nobbles on the mat, rinse intil clean and then dry off!! So easy to clean brushes at end of the week ❤

patti…thank you again for the great content today I ordered the glasses I actually have never seen them before and I have made a mess of my night table even with coasters on my night table. I have gotten stains on them. I now have glass on them temporarily from another warmer bedroom set but I ordered them from Amazon and I think they’re absolutely fantastic and thank you so much, I’m a fanatic when it comes to people putting glasses down without coasters, you’re the best and a lifesaver. Scotland doesn't always gave the same range available but I might get lucky. I use a little sponge in a tin for my eyeshadow brushes and I agree, so simple to use and what a good job it does. Enjoy you and always learn something new! We found Tervis Tumbler years ago on a trip to Florida. I learned not to put them in the dishwasher as the drying cycle heat will break the seal. Also not to use for milk as it seemed to make them cloudy over time. Enjoy Spring and keep the new ideas flowing. 🌺🌺

Just getting over the norovirus and though many do not know that you can get it from your pets (all three of my dogs caught it) - Had to take them to the emergency vet -Yes they can catch it from you as well as you can get it from them! Wish I had known about that hand sanitizer! I too prefer shopping online So much more relaxing -I do like to buy my plants in person though! Love your positive energy!
