Finally a review that captures how meh this movie was. I remember Oceans 12 getting a lot of flack back in the day about being a paycheck movie for those involved. In retrospect that movie has far more wit, charm, and dynamism than this movie ended up with.
Wolfs was just a bit too weighed down by not explaining anything. Not knowing what's going on until basically the end, ruins it. Even at the end, you are left with so many questions. Frustrating to watch and not enough charisma to watch again. Not funny, just annoying. And then you consider the potential of having these two together and it's weird that at times, the kid is the best part... #dobbmobb
Im in a confused state with movies right now... movies that are hailed like fantastic, rebel ridge a quiet place day one etc, they are just meh to me.. I think we have to raise the standards a little bit
Man, I could not have had a more opposite reaction to Wolfs. I thought it was delightful. Meanwhile I thought The Wild Robot was aggressively average and thought even less of Transformers One.
Haven't seen it but if I were to guess, it's the movie's winky-wink way of saying it's about two always alone crime guys- i.e. The Wolf from Pulp Fiction, which is it's drawing from- that are forced to work together.
Napoleon is the absolute worst and everything that's wrong with biopics strangely makes one of the momentous figures in history and takes what was all that made him that out of him and its inaccuracies apparent to even those with a base knowledge of Napoleon
You mean to tell me we have to wait a whole weekend to see Amanda thinking she was going into labor! I am seated for what I already know will be a golden moment from Amanda’s commentary cause girlfriend can go neurotic real quick! 👌🏻🤍🤣
Looking forward to Sean breaking down the Den of Thieves 2 trailer while CR watches from the corner.
“That’s not what movies are for.”
One of the most honest assessments by someone that loves movies.
If this movie was directed by Steven Soderbergh, you have the easiest 4 star fun breezy watch of the year
Instead it's directed by Jon Watts
I just watched Wolfs and it’s actually pretty good until the kid wakes up, so about 15 minutes in.
Lol… Killer opening act! I wanted to defend the movie but I kind of agree with them and you. Wolfs wasn’t great.
When it was just Pitt and Clooney on screen just vibing, it was fine. Whenever they had participate in the plot, it lost me
Transformers chat was great.
"I thought it was primarily a laser domain"
The best part of this episode is Sean making jokes that don’t land then making direct eye contact with the camera
‘This movie stinks!!!’
Just Chris and Sean talking about Transformers would be awesome.
I need more Amanda explaining Transformers! 😂
The answer to Amanda's question about the Transformer's bringing process, I believe Titane answered this
Nice shirt Sean!
It's not the worst film of the year, but it might be something even worse: completely forgettable.
Nabokov's Pale Fire... deep cut 🤘

I just finished watching Transformers One. Fucking DOPE!
"There's no math in Transformers One."😂
Do not disregard Jon Watts magnum opus “Clown”
Respect to Bobby for the Sell shirt. FJF
When someone says they aren't mad.... They are mad.
Pregnancy Amanda is hysterical

Brad and George…having fun. Light entertainment…enjoyed
The best scene was the chase scene with the kid and the club scene. The beginning was so bad and the ending was bad. The plot should have been better
Wolfs is basically what an Apple TV movie is meant to be….big name actors doing a B level rated movie. What was Sean expecting….the God Father? lol
Amanda looking super hot in this pod.
I’m just gonna say that, and I’m gonna say that in my main
Someone please turn Amanda into cornholio😂
Amanda walks into a best buy "I am cornholio, I need Blu-rays for my film bro"
Textbook case of a ‘meh’ movie. And meh-movies can be fine if you’re not expecting much, but you just expect more from a Clooney/Pitt combo
We love pregnant amanda #dobbmobb
Whatever you wanna say, Tom cruise wouldnt do this type of movie or he would change it a lot just by agreeing to be in a movie like this.
Topps Motif?

She is LOSING her mind. Lol
why wolfs and not wolves?

The title is basically a punny joke
Calling it WOLFS instead of WOLVES indicates that they aren't a pack or part of the same team.
They are lone "wolfs" but there are two of them. It's a joke
It's from a line from the movie.
The movie was ok
Lego Transformers impersonation was ❤

Amanda Dobbins is still on the Big Picture Podcast. 1/5 stars
The Instigators was great. Wolfs was great. Folk music rules. These guys are mostly wrong.
