I also have a Stock Tank Pool with the Hayward skimmer. Bravo to you as you are the only other person that I am aware of who’s been smart enough to put one in. This is my second season using it. I recommend getting a filter sock for the basket. I also use it for my 3 inch chlorine pucks to chlorinate the pool. No rust! Good luck! Old guys rule!!!
Thanks brother! I'm using bromine as it is supposed to be easier on the galvanized metal, and doesn't smell but I may put blue tinted Raptor liner on the inside next year. I just wanted to get it going before the hot season... Cheers
