I avoid phone upgrades because the process of "putting things back" is so unclear. The filesystem of an iPhone is a deep dark mystery. And with 2FA, you MUST have a recovery code for every single app that uses it. Print them, scotch tape them in a notebook. @@RhettReisman

Yeah I have to do the same thing with my MacBook. Safe to use adapter. You can examine the .psbt files to make sure everything is correct - I should do a tutorial on how to do that. Ultimately not necessary, but could be good for peace of mind.
Hi, I got my coldcard mk4 and the number on the packing doesn't match the one inside the coldcard device, I emailed coinkide and I got told that it should be fine, it's just a packaging problem and was told just to update to latest firmware, which I did, is there any other way to check if it's been tampered with?
