'A'isha (RA) reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: The acts most pleasing to Allah are those which are done continuously, even if they are small and when 'A'isha (RA) did any act she did it continuously. (Sahih Muslim, Book 6, Hadith 258)
It's not that long ago since the Irish were in the same position as that young woman's people. Time moves so fast. We had so many of our people living in the U.K. who were there to make a life for themselves while the I.R.A. were committing atrocities to counterbalance the atrocities of the British in Northern Ireland. There was good reason to fear. Now, of course, we Irish are accepted again as decent, law-abiding citizens. As indeed I trust Muslims will be, when governments get together to accept equity as the basis for all human relations. When I say equity, I mean simple fairness. That, I believe, is what the Good Friday Agreement achieved. When I look at problems like Israel and Palestine, I think the same thing - fairness, that'll do it, and only a committment to sit down and compromise will bring about that fairness.

Really hoping for the best for her and the people. I was concerned when she said "brew" here, though, and of course, as Muslims, alcohol is prohibited. But, if she's referring to "IRN Bru", and is only a soft-drink without alcohol, then, insyaAllah, should be fine. Wallahuallam. Still, may Allah guide us, always, towards prayer and success.
