The BTown Realtors Team with Trueblood Real Estate LLC is a husband & wife team of REALTORS® serving areas throughout central and southern Indiana. Our specialty is home buyers who are relocating to our beautiful cities, and sellers looking to sell their home using the power of video. I am Wendy Kohlmeier and have been in the real estate business for over 30 years, with a good portion of that time in residential real estate appraisal. I know how to valuate homes! I was born and raised in Bloomington, moved away for 25+ years and boomeranged back to BTown! I partner with my husband Jay, who has worked in the construction end of real estate. He has been doing that for over 10 years now, and is your go to on the inspection side of the transaction.

Very helpful - thanks so much! The dearth of non-student apartments in downtown Bloomington is a little discouraging, but the availability of campus, grocery shopping, buses, walking/biking options makes me more determined than ever to make that work for me. You mentioned The Kirkwood apartment building, which looks great. In my searches, I ran across The Uptown - not “luxury” accommodations but looks well maintained and actively recruits senior residents. So, maybe not a ton of options, but, after all, I just need one place. Thanks again!

"Thank you for your informative video! I'm currently planning to relocate to Bloomington Maurer School of Law with my family (wife and two kids aged 5 and 7) from Asia in 2024 fall. As I won't be able to visit houses in person, I'm relying on online searches to find a suitable family home for our 2-year stay.
The Ellet apartment for rent has caught my attention, but I'm concerned about the potential challenges of commuting to school during snowy weather. Since we're not accustomed to such conditions, any advice or insights on dealing with snow in the area would be greatly appreciated.
I value your expertise, and your video has been incredibly helpful in our planning process. I'll continue watching your videos for more insights. Thanks again!

Yes, you would need to find something walkable to IU. There are a lot of rentals around IU, but they rent them very far in advance.

Demolishing the original hospital was the worst, backwards idea. My brother couldn't get a bed in the "new hospital ". Btown planning commission not real smart. He had to go to Indy or Evansville...that is assanine in my opinion. Why does IU own the town? I love your videos btw...I know I sound negative. I just think Monroe hospital needs to increase in size I guess 😊
