Please don't come to Indiana or Bloomington. We dont want any more people. The roads are crap and it's a college town full of liberals who hate America. Save yourselves.

They should put in a California pizza restaurant serving pizza & corn spaghetti to know the ramifications of the name Brown County.

I love history and B-town. I live 20 minutes from Bloomington.

College towns are great for having a variety of small businesses and food. They've got a lot of entertainment, they're usually walkable without the problems of the big cities. I look forward to visiting someday. Great video!

Rents are high bc of high income student population and bc local real estate taxes are about double for income properties. Price gouging on gasoline and groceries. City seriously makes money on parking fines. It's a shame bc Blgtn is an amazing place to raise a family and to retire here.

Bedford is an amazing town.

Elletsville is nice because you can escape the influx of college kids which you really notice once they have been gone all summer.

Bloomington used to be a nice town. Now it's basically an extension of IU, like they annexed the town and turned it into a giant dorm...

When Bloomington got rid of all its the manufacturing, it went downhill. Everything is overpriced. Good medical care lacking.

I had to move to Huntington from TN because of family. I’m having a tough time.

Add: very poor service and only a couple of decent restaurants in town. Basically flaky people all over.

Visited Bloomington, IN during Thanksgiving 2022. Loved touring the IU campus . Very beautiful town. Would love to live there if more remote work opportunities open up.

When I visited last, I was pleasantly surprised. Great architecture with the historic homes, the revitalization of the downtown…The Tivoli is a gem. Stopped by a cute cafe for a late breakfast. McCormicks Creek is a national treasure, in my opinion. Thanks for video.

I live in elletsville right now. If you go to the Edgewood high school they put up about 50k-100k worth of fireworks. It’s crazy. I also go to Edgewood right now. You are 100% right about the pizza. We have 5 gas stations and 5 Pizza places. IGA is the most expensive grocery store so i only go there ween I only need a couple things instead of a lot. Now they are building more things like a motel or something they are building it together tho. Seven oaks is another school but I hear that the teachers are mean there. The fall is very beautiful. I’m in woodgate. It is a MASSIVE neighborhood it takes me about 5-10 mins to get from side to side being a suburban neighborhood it does have like 1 bus but that’s it. I honestly love this town. That’s all I have to say.

Graduated high school here in 83. It was kinda crazy then, but cheaper to live here and felt separated from Bloomington. Now, its just a side kick of Bloomington. Which sucks! But, at least it still has somewhat of a small town feel. Btown will ruin this town, sonner or later...

My is advise is DONT. Unless you want to live in a city ran by democrats, extreme liberal politics and IU. As a person born and raised in Bloomington, I moved away. The prices are ridiculous and the government a joke.

Climate is 100% a big thing. You never know what the weather can be one day it will be 40 degrees and the next its 80 degrees

Bloomington has all the costs of larger cities without any of the amenities. The city is in an awkward spot with population, and I feel like more businesses won’t invest in Bloomington where they could go somewhere else. Ultimately, this video is just another reminder that Bloomington has one of the highest (if not the highest) cost of living in the entire state. There is not a wealth of jobs, nor a large variety of jobs. For people who are not already affluent, you’re never going to thrive. You will just barely survive.
