It was a lot yes, but she was not to be underestimated. I think that was the point. It was to not pass judgment on her just because she was attractive. She can hold her own. That was the message in a lot of shows/movies/songs in the 90s. That was the age of the modern woman doing things for herself while still being a beautiful force. I was 7 when this movie came out and even I know what the lesson was. I guess you just had to be there mentally to understand
