- Hello Rehab Rebels! This is our very first episode on Let's Get Building with Josh and Kalie as we renovate a home in Porto, Portugal. There have already been plenty of ups and downs as we try to bring this old home back to it's former glory. Delays, paperwork, and finally the start of demolition are all things you can expect in our first episode. How long will it take to get started? Will we make our completion date? Will Kalie's lemon tree make it? Join us on this journey to renovating an old property in a European city.

* ABOUT US *
Josh and Kalie left the US for a life abroad in 2009 and haven't looked back. They have lived in Spain, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, and are currently in Portugal. Yes, they realize they only moved to countries starting with the letter "S" until they spoiled that streak with their move to Portugal. This is the first country abroad they have decided to purchase a property. While they have owned homes in the US, this is a whole new adventure. They will renovate a property in the heart of Porto, Portugal. That's the plan! Thanks for the message, Thomas. We've gotta figure out what format we want to use to show the floor plans. We also need to see what the 3Ds look like and how they could possibly be integrated. We don't know how to do the fancy motion graphics that HGTV has, otherwise, we'd be all over that. - Josh & Kalie

I've been trying to make it back to Madeira to buy a property that needs to be renovated and I have heard (and seen on other channels) that managing construction projects in Portugal is really really challenging due to bureaucracy and lack of labor.
We love obsessive watching LOL. We have an unfortunate lack of labor issue this week with the crane operating being sick and there's no one to replace him. - Josh & Kalie

Hi Regina, thanks for asking. We've been slammed with other content but we have filmed what we need to for the next episode (2) and we'll be editing that next week. Ideally, we'll get the video ready for a Sunday release but if not, it'll be the following week. We're going to start releasing on Sundays for now as that was tied for the most % in the poll we did.
