This reminds me of how one of the RUclips ICRPG guy uses his maps for his games. He uses images instead of what most consider 'a map' in traditional gaming.

where do you find those images or do you generate some?

Some generated and some I hand trace and use Adobe Firefly to have the AI color it in, etc.
