With boardgames, me and my friends always play against Automa/AI/Bots. Solo modes have changed the way we play in group, we are now always playing coop against artificial opponents. At least on the board-game side.
I think that is going to become increasingly common. With RPGs the challenge is reaching an answer fast enough that you/I remain immersed in the game. The better your attention span the more indepth an oracle you could get away with, possibly.
