      This. I side with Cult of Solael on Normal with most of my builds just to get the Emblem of Agile Huntress ASAP - saved my ass countless times (like when you trigger a totem and become instantly surrounded with no time to fight your way out)...

    1:25 #3 Forgotten gods, select your faction and apply all 3 faction mandates if you have them from a previous character. Also worthwhile picking up the 6 lore notes at the conclave of the 3. I also do the first Shattered Realm just to get the devotion shrine.

    All good tips to know or remember
    With one hardcore character I forgot number 5, got too full of myself, and die in the most stupid way, losing a lot of dynamite, and (green) shards among other stuff :/

    Tip 1: don't pick a second class until at least level 40. This will give you a good handle on the playstyle you want with the character, and reduce regret.
    Tip 2: (Mostly for SC) rebind your portal button to something easy and drop it after entering new areas, before bosses and periodically as you have long. This will reduce long backtracks. (In HC, 8t gives you a quick escape to reset cds)
    Tip 3: use component attacks to supplement damage or be the primary source of damage. Up to level 40, the components and advanced components can compete with main skills as far as damage goes, just as long as you upgrade weapons.
    Tip 4: hoard all MIs that are double/triple rare, or that have matching pre/suf. You never know what you want to play next.

    • @theobell2002
      @theobell2002 Год назад

      There's a lot of triple rare MI's that are bad and aren't worth hoarding. In fact most of the time I get a triple rare, it's useless.

    • @randomaccessfemale
      @randomaccessfemale Год назад

      Best greens can be BiS, but they are usually not double rares, because the needed suffixes/prefixes depend on the build.

    • @strixcz
      @strixcz 4 месяца назад

      1) This really isn't universally true. Once you know the classes and their synergies a bit, restricting yourself to a single class for a long time is definitely not necessary (and it can actually make your playthrough harder / more tedious due to missing skills and stats from the other class). My advice would be "don't always take the second class at level 10 - unless you're already going for a particular build". Taking it around level 20 is usually reasonable though.

      Yes. Backup you're saves and move them out to another file location. You can then start new and fresh without anything shared. If you want to play an older character, just swap the saves around.

    You are not playing the game as it is intended by killing yourself to move up a level. Defeats the whole purpose of playing the game. Remember it is about survival not an arcade.

    • @BaamGames
      @BaamGames  Год назад +2

      ARPGs, unless hardcore, always have an element of dying in them. Pushing harder is going to come with this consequence. I feel this is just a tactic to level initially.

    • @misterggg9808
      @misterggg9808 Год назад +3

      @@BaamGames I disagree. In my opinion, to sacrifice yourself to get a level up is a failure to find an alternative. To me the challenge is to get as far as you can alive. It is like solving a puzzle in a way. Of course you can play the game anyway that pleases you, however I respectfully disagree with this approach in playing any game. It's like cheating in my opinion.

    • @BaamGames
      @BaamGames  Год назад +1

      @Mister GGG don't you find it interesting though that the game levels you up when you die? Also, do you find that using merits to skip content cheating too as you can skip over what was intended?
      Lastly, it's nice to disagree with someone but be grown up about it. Thank you.

    • @misterggg9808
      @misterggg9808 Год назад +2

      @@BaamGames No I do not find it interesting to level up by dying, in fact it just doesn't make any sense at all in my opinion. If you can skip any area by another means that is part of the game that follow the purpose of the game then I would except that, however it does not make any sense at all that you advance in anyway once you are dead. Although the game levels you up once you are dead, to me that is a flaw in the game. Dead is dead game over. As far as your last statement about being "grown up" when I disagreed with your viewpoint I was being grown up about it when I respectfully disagreed with you.

    • @BaamGames
      @BaamGames  Год назад +1

      @Mister GGG haha dude I think you have missed my point, I was being respectful and actually acknowledging your comment as a grown up way to communicate. You haven't just said swear words at me and not given a valid argument.
      To be honest, I really don't mind either way - death or no, as long as I am having fun. Hardcore of course is different and I naturally aim to stay alive.
