Quick fix on the beach is the uni to uni knot (10 turn knot) but if you have time, best option is to splice!
I don’t understand. While do this splicing at all? If you choose 50lb, why can’t to fish with that 50lb?
so the mono stays inside with the braided line that's inside the other braided line? never would of even thought of this. same size braid for the blue and the gray?

No!! The mono comes out after you finish your splice! The mono piece is only to keep the braid tight in the back of the hollowcore needle!
And yes both braids are 200 pounds

Do Yall think diamond gen 3 braid is ok. I wanna get it bc it’s cheaper hollow core but don’t want it to be bad
Diamond is good braid it's just thick!
Yo dat ish splice any easier then diamond. I splice 200 to 250 and its hell
Not sure about doing 200 to 250. But the 200 to 200 isn't bad at all. Not diamond braid!
