I at the area of the video where you are talking interest rates. How advantageous in your experience this past year was it for sellers to sell home with an assumable loan option in the 3% ranges?

@@sammieseoul5544 thanks for watching! This is not a great time to sell for anyone. We are is a buyer’s market currently. No, it is not advantageous for anyone to sell there home who is sitting on a 3% mortgage. The only ones that are selling right now are the ones who have to. Are you considering a move?

@@brendajones7558 Thanks for the response. I am planning a move but not for at least another year - We live in SA but want to move to a more upscale area - areas similar to Johnson - Esperenza - Kinder (George -although that might be on the edge of too pircey ) to name a few. part of it is to save money to put anywhere from 40-50% down payment (1 year away) roughly, and give time to build enough equity on our current home to at least break even when we sell. But in short - we want to move but are not pressed for time.

@@sammieseoul5544 a year away may be perfect timing! We are SA natives. We currently live in Schertz. Where are you living now?

I misread your comment about assumable loans. Yes, if you have an assumable loan (most are assumable) then it may be attractive to buyers looking to get a lower rate. The problem is they would have to come up with the equity portion which is many cases can be quite large. Sorry for the confusing reply.
