Our Impressions of Constanta, Romania's Beach City | Not what we expected in Romania!

This is not what we expected in Romania. The Black Sea resort town of Constanta blew our mind. We loved walking around this ancient settlement and also climbed up the Royal Carol 1 Mosque. The views were good from up there. It took us just 2 hours to reach Constanta by train from Bucharest.
The Greeks built this city long ago and it was called Tomis back then. It changed hands to the Romans soon after and then to the Turks. Today, the architecture that you witness in Constanta is a mixture of all these great colonial powers in the region and is an excellent day trip from the hustle and bustle of Bucharest.

I really enjoyed this video. Very informative. I am going by train to constanta from bucharest this month and i was nervous about it but you made me feel at ease. Do you know if you can get uber in constanta? I would rather take a uber from the station to old town.

Yes, old Town was very pretty, for a short time duration this is the only part we could cover, next time we plan to see other parts
