Fun fact - The shot of Michael Sheen with the two salmon looking towers in the background isn't in Derby where they claimed. It's actually a council estate called Cottingley which is a 10 minute walk from Leeds United's ground. I know this because I live there.
Guido Buchwald apparently won a World Cup for West Germany, being credited for a lot of the success due to successfully defending against the best opposing player in the final match.
Dave Mackay was a Scotsman, legend of a player and a legend for so many clubs, including the team I support, Heart of Midlothian. If you google him the first pic you see is his square up with Billy Bremner, it's a fantastic photo.

You are 100% spot-on about DVD menus. Even worse than this is going to see a movie at the actual theatre, and then you have to deal with all that "pre-show" bullshit that ruins scenes, characters, plot-points, etc. *_WHY ARE YOU PREEMPTIVELY SHOWING ME WHAT I'M ABOUT TO SEE?!?_*
The best DVD menu I’ve ever seen is for the mockumentary How to Irritate People. When you press play, the menu rearranges itself and you have to repeat the process four or five times before the film actually starts playing. It’s worth it though, as it’s a pre-Python film starring John Cleese, as well as Graham Chapman, Michael Palin and the recently departed Tim Brooke-Taylor. David Frost was also involved in the production somehow, which is fitting since Michael Sheen also played him in Frost/Nixon... which leads me to ask: Seen it - Frost/Nixon? Fantastic portrayal of an already very interesting interview, it’s one of my top 10 films. Great episode as always, and thanks for keeping us entertained, especially in these uncertain times!
I watched this 20+ years ago with my roommate and some short-term boyfriend of hers. He picked it out at the store (a VHS copy, so no menu), saying we just had to see it. The weird thing is, that as we were watching it, I realized the guy had never seen any Monty Python. He just, for some reason, knew this.
I just remembered my second favourite DVD menu related thing! I can’t remember off the top of my head which film it is but I have at least one old DVD that lists “interactive menu” among the special features on the back of the box. I think the interactivity is just that... it is, in fact, possible to navigate the menu.
I just watched that last week, and I liked it much more than expected. In fact, it's probably the most British film I've ever enjoyed! (In terms of degrees of Britishness...)

The draw thing where Derby was matched with Leeds was the FA (football association) Cup which is a knockout style competition involving all official leagues in the country. I think the theme of 'Toy Story 4' is that moving on can be good. In the beginning of the movie Woody isn't fulfilled with his life anymore, even though it is safe and familiar. It shows that even though moving on may mean saying goodbye it can be good for you as a person. In 'Toy Story 3' we saw Andy move on with his life and now we see Woody move on with his to new chapter.
Eh, it felt more like he was having a mid toy-life crisis to me. If Woody had truly gone off to do his own thing-- alone-- or went off finding new adventures I would agree with you, but didn't feel he grew at all, as compared to the lessons at the end of the other movies. Honestly, moving on would not be going back to an old girlfriend who has grown without you-- if they didn't work back then why would they work now? It's not really 'moving on'. That way leads to stagnancy imo. Then the ending almost feels like he's joined a cult- After a week of knowing the misfit toys and 'cool' Bo Peep, he decides to abandon his family? Is he having a mental health crisis? It's almost feels like old trope of 'I have an awesome girlfriend now and now all her friends are my friends and all my friends I don't need any more.' Meh all around. Also Bo Peep was worth fighting for even before she became a manic pixie badass trope, but only then did Woody even bother considering her again. Whats the message there? That you gotta be cool for dudes to want to be with you and be good partners? Shouldn't she be mad at him? He didn't seem to like her enough to find her before when she was just sweet Bo Peep but now she doesn't need him he'll forsake everything for her to be by her side? That's not a great message to leave with anyone. I would have liked Bo Peep more if she told Woody where to go at the end; she doesn't need him. Honestly, if they had realized this at the end-- that he failed her in the first place and they both needed to part ways and grow separately and the past is the past, I wouldn't have a problem with it. But the message is lost to me because ultimately they shoehorned it into a weird love story that makes no sense like-- they're soulmates, or something. Nothing about their relationship is healthy. It's like he's run off to join the circus. I personally think it weakens the messages of the other three movies.
