  • TMD or temporomandibular dysfunction is dysfunction of the TMJ or temporomandibular joint. Pain can present in all sorts of ways, but for our patient today, she is having right sided jaw pain.
We went over the relationship between the jaw and the pelvis and why she’s having pain on that right side (too overstretched). Today, we’ll look at how we treat the jaw by bringing her center of mass (pelvis/rib cage) over to the left, shifting her spinal column over to the left, which reorients her head/neck/JAW differently in space, and subsequently alleviates all of her symptoms.
    Key players:
    Left adductor (groin)
    Left hamstring
    Left abdominal wall
    Right serratus anterior
    Right glute max/posterior glute med
See how we explain the relationship between the jaw and the pelvis, why she’s having pain on that right side, and tune in next week to see how we treated it.
TAG a friend below who you know has been dealing with jaw pain for way too long and just hasn’t been able to find a solution. We’ve got the answers for y’all!
