- The Walker Brothers - Make it Easy On Yourself, as performed for the pilot edition of a show called Discotheque, the show was not commissioned. Gary Leeds AKA Gary Walker was also interviewed on this show and there is a link to that at the very end of this video.

At the end of this song is a link to an interview with the drummer which was also on this show.
It’s crazy that so many people still look for The Walker Brothers and love them. The whole Walker Brothers and Scott need more appreciation and love.
They will never be forgotten especially Scott who inspired so many artists and who's voice will never be replaced. Today is the anniversary of his passing 💔
How great is this! I love Scott Walker. All 3 versions (maybe 4) - Teen Idol, Solo Artist and Experimentalist.
P.S. The (maybe) 4th is when he reformed The Walker Brothers in the late 70's.
Wicked, Walker Bros👏🏻👏🏻
Thank you! I love Scott of course, but The Walker Brothers tend to be overlooked these days unfortunately. Brilliant band, there is a wonderful compilation called “After The Lights Go Out - The Best Of 1965-1967” that is well worth finding on cd.
Love this.
I found the CD for £3.49 inc postage, a bargain. Thanks for the heads up on that, I'll pop it into the car CD player as soon as it arrives.

Hope you enjoy it, there is some great stuff on it.
More Walker Brothers
So talented.
Fantastic!!! Thank you!
I am glad you enjoyed this Marco and thank you for being the first to comment. 🏆
Excellent song, which was at no. 1 in the UK in August 1965.
Bons tempos que não voltam mais!
Brilliant! Scott was and hopefully still is, a very, sincere, deep songwriter after The Walker Brother's broke up. He even inspired Robert Plant!
But, I loved the original line up.
John Walker( I don't think that was his real surname) was instrumental in doing a deal with Jeff Beck over a Fender original Telecaster or Broadcaster Guitar. I don't know what became of the Drummer?
But "The Sun Ain't gonna Shine" was another of their hits at the time.
But yeah, I was a big fan. At the Time 🎉😊
When they headlined a package tour with Englebert Humperdink and the Jimi Hendrix Experience, I reckon I'd have been home for an early bath after getting Experienced!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
❤So cool
I was born in the late 60s growing in the 70s my late Dad played the Walker brothers on 7inch single on a radio gram Make it easy on your self like the Fortunes you have got your troubles I have got mine that's my choice even in 2024 karma
❤
Thanks Stevee! Probably my favourite Walker Brothers track. I was a regular at a club night in Sydney throughout the late 90's and Naughties called The Sounds of Seduction, and this tune was always the finisher, usually around 3:00am. There was nothing like it, an uber cool mix of lounge, exotica, obscure film stock sounds, punk, funk, go-go dancers, scopitone projections, you really had to be there, I can't adequately describe it, but to give an idea here's something that was always a dancefloor filler - ruclips.net/video/m_dr8dE3zb4/видео.html
Thanks a great track from Ennio, I searched Spotify for it and can't find it, so just have to add the video to my favourites list. Wish I could have been at that club in the 90s, sounds fantastic.
Is that Simon Dee introducing?
Vernon bloody Kay!
I have followed the le😅
John forgets that they are lip synching.
