Built in speaker simulation is an integral part of the CLASSIC Series circuitry. Each model is tuned to match the speaker/cabinet of that amplifier. It is designed for a smooth, even response as
would be achieved by a multiply-miked cabinet, without the peaks, valleys, and notches associated with single miking.The shape of the speaker curve will not adversely effect or interfere with the
frequency response of your own cabinet.There is no need to defeat the speaker simulation circuit when using it with a guitar amplifier.The speaker simulation works in tandem with the EQ controls to custom tailor the overall sound.

I've been watching a lot of affordable pedal demos in the past few days, and so very often the presenter is just sort of blindly turning knobs to see what tones it will make... or showing a few sounds he found that he liked. Seems that you know how the pedal functions - and thus seem to pass that on... Definitely the bit about the interactions between the Voice and Gain knobs was insightful. Thanks!

No. What you are hearing is the pedal direct into GarageBand.
