This content enabled me to re-think my attitude with an issue I'm struggling with, i.e. my children; especially one, have not always treated me kindly. I have continued to 'be there' emotionally, financially, materially and physically for them for decades. However; finding myself in a situation with time for 'me only' the past several years, I began to have varying emotions regarding a gathering with several in August. I felt fear, apprehension, resentment and depression, basically came down to a desire to 'run away', be somewhere else at the time. Then I had a notice that workers are needed in my Temple on those very dates. After thought, wrestling with it and thanking Father for what I have been given, last night I began considering giving the gifts I've made for them and what to cook for them. This morning; as I'm making a small birthday gift for a friend, I went back to this cast, which I had started to view yesterday but was interrupted,. Well! as I listened it just came over me, that feeling of the love I have for them, so soft, so lovely, from the Holy Ghost. Without the Both of you; Kerry providing your insights in podcasts and the kind Brother combined, have this day given me that experience that caused me to move forward. Now my heart is lighter, I won't serve in the Temple on those dates, I'll be enjoying, loving and making memories with those of my children at the gathering. A grateful heartful Thank you❣️

I was looking at the baboons and snakes near the center and considered the context. Not sure if I am explaining clearly or if I am far off base. I know the center speaks to Kolob and 1,000 years but I also considered the baboon’s link to Thoth and Thoth’s link to Enoch. I know they are also used in worship of the sun or Ra, but this depiction seemed different. Love to hear more about it sometime. I have attempted making videos myself but with kids and little time, by the time I get back to a previous study to share it, it one’s out half baked and poorly explained.
I love the fact that you both focus on the meat of the message, our foundational relationship with the Lord and one another. This discussion helps me much in relating the scriptures unto myself and making them come alive in my private life. I love the statement that we are here to see one another through, not to see through one another. So much wisdom shared to enlighten my understanding.
