@@gmatsue84 Had he not told him, then the Colts would have had a major advantage on that play. Him telling Ray that they only had 10 players is not only a sign of respect, but also good sportsmanship.
I saw Dick Butkus play at both Illinois and with the Bears. I watched arguably the best defensive season ever with the '85 Bears. I watched the Manning years with the Colts, the BEST QB and maybe best all around player ever. To quote Genesis in "Driving the Last Spike", "you'll never see the likes of us again!"
Same in 2010. If the Ravens would've beaten the Steelers in the divisional, (which they almost did) they would've hosted the championship game as the 5 seed against the 6 seeded jets
Such a great time to be a Colts fan.... great game. Too bad they couldn't close the deal against the Saints in the superbowl. I'm still pissed about that. I hope the Colts can get back to this with AR-5
Remember being so nervous before this game because the Colts rested the starters in the weeks prior (which never worked out in the playoffs for them) and the Ravens came out hot against the Patriots in the wild card game. Needless to say, Peyton Manning and co. put my fears to rest in this game
Wow the ravens offense was awful in this game. Had so many opportunities to do literally anything with the ball and refused to do so. It’s a miracle the defense held Indy to a modest 20 points given how long they sat on that field. Also, that ravens O-line looked awful against the Colts pass rush
Joe Flacco for you. Early in his career the defense was carrying him and he would just let them down game after game, it wasn’t til the 2011 playoffs that Flacco started to carry his own weigh. I still remember when Ed Reed called him out before a playoff game lol
The Colts sort of went in the tank offensively once up 17-3 at half. They knew Baltimore’s offense couldn’t move it. I think they could’ve scored more had they wanted to do so.
Thank you for the upload Bart, this was a fun playoff game. Do u happen to have 2010 Lions @ Vikings? Brett Favre’s first win in his last season in the NFL
Classic Peyton Manning double-dip in this one. Tie score late in the first half; leads them to a TD to seemingly end the half, but the Colts sneak an extra possession and #18 steals another TD just before halftime. With the Ravens' inept offense that was game over.
Hey what do people mean that Peyton Manning always plays horribly in the playoffs? He played pretty well here against this great Ravens D, and the next week he torched the number 1 ranked defense of the New York Jets. Also, I know he gets a lot of flack for that Super bowl pick 6, but he really didn't play that badly in the Super bowl, where as the Colts defense got carved up by Drew Brees
@@garrettjoseph7236 Flacco in his prime was good, maybe even very good. He was fantastic in that 2012 playoff run and deserved the Super Bowl MVP.
