As a note, I never do a full run because it’s just way too much time. Usually I will do a quick run of the area with the daily quests, and daily candle cakes and that’s it for me ✌🏻
I also do it everyday because I don't have enough time to run all realm..

@FinikiFinFuzz two-handed mode allows you to controll direction and flight or direction and camera angle at the same time. While you cant do all this with only one hand

To anyone wondering, you can get about 20 candles a day using full candle runs. Keep in mind these are extremely time-consuming and you'd have to be playing pretty much all day for this to happen. There is an occurrence where I got 21 candles because I did Eden that day.
i did a full candle run yesterday, and it took a whole day until night came and i had to go to bed. the good thing is i got finished in time.
i had 36 candles and managed to get 55

I play every single day and still learned about the 4 new spots at the end of Valley, the shortcut up to Hermits peak and the candles in the entrance to the Trials.

I’ve normally do the candle run in one day except trials bc they’re in really a breakmind challenge and I think the routine of nasty old is better but today Wednesday I’m going to do it all in a day cuz probably tomorrow or past-tomorrow there will be a new traveling spirit

No it's not traveling spirits.
It's winged light. Why? Because you're practically forced to do a candle run without noticing while collecting winged light. This is according to my experience.

A quick way to get that candle cake at the top of the Hermit Cave Mountain is from the Windpath roundabout ... After doing Isle, & collecting those candles at the very top of the Cave of Prophecies... if you're familiar with the fast-flow roundabout.
(...or after the Sanctuary Isles you can fly on the Manta to the high waterfall clouds.... there is another tunnel to this fast-fly roundabout).
The circular Windpath also passes a tunnel, (and candles on platforms) to the Underground Caverns .. This access eliminates need for waiting for help. (It has a green platform with glowing fungi and the tunnel leads to near the butterfly cave)
After you get to know the scenic markers to jump off this roundabout, another neat stop-off is the Forgotten Ark, so these 3 side places can be done in a circle without doing the detours in the main areas.
It changes things up for the usual journeys anyways.
(Another Windpath tunnel leads to the Starlit Desert)

At 12:30, in Daylight Prairie, the Villages, center building, the sleepy spirit will reveal a small patch of darkness after the second waypoint.

Btw for whoever is watching this now there are some changee like just a tip to know in the minute 16:16 the candle cake isnt there anymore but there is one just down there where the bells are! its not much of a tip just something i noticed nyself while doing the run!

I have a new candle run rout now :D first i will run sanctuary and do geyser, then i will get daily candle cakes, i will Quickly run valley and vault, ans do turtle, geyser, and grandma whenever they are on (but currently grandma is bugged) Thank you for this, i realized ive been missing half the wax in valley 😂

If you guys candle for 2 weeks you’ll get 280 candles but if it’s 4 weeks you’ll get 560 (you gotta full candle run to get the exact amount )

@@expiredcheese9047 😭 if you do that ofc you going in circles for starter I don't die in fire trail and second I use a candle to show me what's in front of me and you can use the big candle In your friend thing (where you unlock piggy) use that candle to stop making your friend die and the person can do the same

curently at the 24:33 minute mark, while following along and pausing this video a million times, in person this took 2 hours of nonstop gameplay... i'm at 14 full candles.
This is from a year ago, but if you do happen to read this: there are far faster ways to get loads of candles, and full CR is just not a good strategy. Candles max out at about 22 anyway (arguably 20 tbh) so you have to choose the places you get your wax based on how conveniently distanced they are

Oh no, you missed one! At 6:53, once you get to the top of that ramp, turn around 180 degrees and follow the left edge of the path until you get to a platform. On the left of that platform you'll find a door with two more candles behind it :)
The beginning candle cake you can just use the chibi glitch into that cave and chibi glitch out and move on :))

There are more cakes but with the new candle forge system it takes a LOT more wax to get one candle near the end

I think you missed a couple candle cakes in sanctuary. There’s one on top of the first floating island, one near the quest giver, and a bunch of darkness near the polluted geyser.
this is an older video, the cake on the first floating island replaced the one on the top of the large mountain! and the ones near the geyser were not there before :) not sure about the one near the quest giver though, she may have actually missed that one
