    Last year I put down prodiamine for the first time. Lov it. It knocked all the Poa A out of my lawn.

    I’m just ready to get to work. Tired of the frozen yellow tint to my fescue. Ready for the green up.

    FYI Milorginite is temperature dependent it needs warm temperatures to work since the product is relying on microbes. You will see the most change if you apply during May

      Even more of a reason to use it in cooler temps, to see what happens!

      Seahawkaz is right. It will just sit there till may. That or end up in your gutters from rain. lf you want to see a turf reaction right now while the weather is cooler, dissolve .25lbs of n per 1k of 21-0-0 ams in your backpack sprayer. Let it absorb into the leaves for a few hours, then water it in. Might as well flush your money down the toilet if you go the milorganite route.

    Good to see you brother! Yes I'd like to see you try that on your front and back with other fret. Whats cool is I did my yard a few years ago and went from the worst lawn to by far the best and others around my house are taking better care of there yards. It has helped the hood look better. LOL

    Yes to testing different parts of the yard with various ferts! When you are at Lowe's pick up Sta Green 20-0-0 granular AMS for $25. I'd bet that does just as good or better than anything else for less money.

    Great vid, Mr. Ferguson! It's insane how we went from 20 degree weather all the way to the 60s in a span of one week!

      It's NC nothing insane about the weather, When we moved to NC IN 2005 the builder of our house said don't like the weather wait 10 minutes! No truer words were ever spoken.

    Have you tried synergy brand?? I have used everything- gci,lesco, etc..
    Something about synergy that really gives it a superior green and thickness. It could be a higher ammonia nitrate they use but it is a nice addition to the arsenal.
    I mix it up with other stuff but you should look into it.

    I'd love to see you try different fertilizers around your yard to see how they turn out!
    Would you ever consider doing fertilizer treatments only throughout the year and not use any bio stims?

    • @MrFergusonLawn
      @MrFergusonLawn  22 часа назад +1

      Well we really haven't used bio stims the past year or so. It's primarily been fert, but we will see.

    I wouldn't test Flagship vs Milo for a comparison as Flagship has their own version of Milo in it.

      Well it was just a name I threw out. And even then, just comparing one product to another for the sake of it is always fun.

    IDK man, the price of Milo is over 20 bucks these days and I'm in Wi. like an hour away from where it is made. A few years ago it was only 12.99 a bag.

    Have you tried ProPeat Mr. F?

  • @chadcochran4654
    @chadcochran4654 23 часа назад

    I don't wanna always be that negative Nancy but Milo needs warm soil temps because the microbes need to eat it and they poop out the fertilizer. : )
    Now a good experiment might be, how warm does the soil need to be...

      Id say yes, it is possible, but hard to do. It's so low in N, it would take a lot to do harm.

    There is another natural fert, like milo. It's ecoscraps @ home depot.
    Milo= 32 lbs 6-4-0 5% iron? 2500 sq
    Eco= 45 lbs 4-2-0 4% iron? 2500 sq ft
    Eco costs about same but getting 13 more lbs.
