Normally I’d say the refit Connie inexplicably not having a rear torpedo launcher would be a disadvantage, but the way you’ve balanced that out is great.
Thank you, I gave the Connie Refit excellent phaser arcs and the forward tubes reload after 30 seconds instead of 40. Meanwhile the K'Tinga relies on its heavy photons since it has mediocre disruptors and no secondary weapons, leading to periods of down time where the Connie can drain its shields without response
Heck of a battle. Almost had the Connie at the end when their shield generator went off line but they beat you to the punch. Klingons beware, even the Federation refits are a force to be reckoned with.
That was not an easy fight, by any means. Still the Constitution Refit, managed to win both fights within a comfortable margin. Due mostly to the Connie's ability to fire its phasers from almost any angle.
I LOVE the phaser arcs and reload/recharge rates of the connie. But I am curious as to why the Ktinga only had 2 disruptor banks. It should have at least 4 forward and 2 aft to my knowledge. Great battle as usual. I always look forward to your uploads!
@@02ujtb00626 I’ve gone for a torpedo heavy KTinga since I loved the torpedo sound and effect from the Motion Picture. I may give it more armaments in the future but for now I’m liking its torpedo barrages too much 😂
This was an awesome battle! It's always nice to see the constitution in action. I wanted to ask, can you do 1 vaadwaur ship vs the nx enterprise? When I tested this out in KM, I was just barely able to win in the enterprise.
The K'tinga was meant to beat a TOS Connie. The The Conne2 is substantially more powerful. 2293 Connie in terms of firepower is pretty equal to excelsior minus a couple of Torpedoes. Structurally excelsior would take a bigger pounding. Type 2 Excelsior (1701-B) was the big upgrade, phasers type 7 to 8 pulsed, more shield power, faster speeds. But i love the look of the connie refit and the ambassador. As well as the Defiant.
@@aaronatwood9298 I am very partial to the Ambassador, not so much the Defiant. I think ships like the Ambasasdor, Excelsior, Nebula etc are far grander and have more substance. I’ve never been a fan of Star Trek hot rod types, Prometheus included!
@@adamlee2111 I typically don't like the hotrod ships either, but the defiant in particular sits nice because it was built for a purpose with obvious limitations. Its almost too powerful, but not to Mary Sue status. For a very rushed job, the Ambassador class model is very simple, clean, and its proportions just work in the startrek world. I'm not sure if its the right ship at the wrong time or just cause its lost era or what not. But I am pretty certain it was out exploring the Galaxy during the 2260's. They were big, still powerful, and very self sufficient where as the Galaxy class was rather delicate and still working out kinks all the way up to the Dominion War. I just think the Excelsior is fugly, and I carry that to the Narendra class cause it looks too Excelsior. The lack of proportion between saucer and engineering hull and the Nacelles that stick out ridiculously far like the TOS Connie. Still better than JJverse though.
The classic K’tinga torpedo sound is just the best!

Shields up Keptin?
Nice! Curious to know if you have a different texture mod/explosion mod running for BCR - looks incredible!

An advantage Starfleet ships have enjoyed throughout the centuries!

@@adamlee2111 lol I love a good torpedo barrage too. Your Akira class was amazing.

No problem, I've added it to the list!

Could we get a Constitution Refit vs. Miranda?
Is a K'Tinga a D7? Otherwise these klingon ships are 24th century and not 23th.
The K'Tinga was a 23rd century design that survived into the 24th. First appearance was Star Trek: The Motion Picture 👍
