Sir! THANK YOU SO MUCH! This was perfect! In my case, the water was too hot! I just adjusted clockwise and BAM! Perfect temperature! My Wife and I are enjoying our upstairs shower again. Thanks again!
DO NOT unscrew that temp control screw to much! That screw is holding a lot of water pressure that could potentially pop that screw all the way out and there will be water spraying out of the screw hole like a hose. It’s a pain to put the screw back in with that water spraying out. So adjust it moderately. If you unscrew it and it starts to slowly leak that’s a sign to stop.
No, this adjustment is only for how much it allows the handle to rotate to the hot position. Many showers do not allow full cold water, but always mix some hot.
Before I seen this video I did it opposite by accident with the water on then adjusting the screw and now my handle turns too far into the hot position. How do make it go back to it original setting?
Check out this video. You need to open the screw, set water to preferred hottest setting, then tighten screw back down. ruclips.net/video/7fPLZ3svSZc/видео.htmlsi=lxFp3dpgXWz1L5dW
I could be wrong but I think what you're suppose to do is turn the water on. Take handle off. Open up the screw a bit. THen but handle on and adjust water to your hottest desired temp. Then take handle off and tighten the screw and put handle back on. I think the screw just limits how far the handle will turn but many people and videos I've seen think that the screw itself is what adjusts the temp but it's just a limiter in how far the handle can go. If the handle already goes to it's max position then I THINK it's a different problem. For me, my screw is frozen and I'm afraid to strip it.
i think you're correct, messing with this screw doesn't affect the temperature in ANY way, it only "limits" the amount of rotation the handle will go through, as the literal name of the part implies : "T-34 ; Limit Stop with O - Ring"
today my family will shower in comfort thanks to you, sir!! this worked!!

Sounds like you speak from experience!
Thank you Aaron for sharing this, it saved me time and money! Appreciate your help 🙂
Life Saver! Thank you
Thank you! worked like a charm!
I notice my cold isn’t fully cold, does that mean this is set wrong?

@@AaronSaks dang… I had grown used to letting the shower run cold a bit if I had issues going to 💩… I’ll have to settle for simulated shower sounds.

Try to soak the screw in penetrating oil, such as liquid wrench, and see if you can get it loose....
