I really like the vampire counts but I used to play Mannfred a lot, since seeing this I've really taken to Isabella and Vlad as they husband and wife tag team there way across the realms of men. Also really like the hansom Vlad you put out.
Last I remember, Isabella was resurrected during the End Times by the forces of Chaos. Demon possessed I believe. It is said that, during their fight, Vlad, not wanting to duel with his wife, pushed them both to their deaths(just like Harry did to Voldemort but, y'know, less magic traveling teleportation and shit) and as they both fell, he took off his Von Carstein Ring and placed it in her finger. They both died by.... well, regular vampire style. Something pierces their heart. Vlad died, and the demon left her, but Isabella regenerated, and came to. I forgot what happens next, but she is rescued by the first Vampire lady, Nehfethara or something. She's brought to a castle where that hot tomb kings lady legendary lord is also there, Nehfethara's cousin I believe. There she stays, and awaits the end of the world.

I’m pretty sure The Spiffing Brit played as her and was able to get an army of just hero units. Afterwards he used a gold exploit to fuel the legions of dead that followed.
@@The_Murder_Party No, it was something to do with vassalizing Templehof, releasing them as a vassal to declare war, and re-vasslizing them, multiple times per turn. It absolutely destroys the player's reliability stat, but gives shitloads of money.
So basically what you want to do is choose Vlad and spam varghiest. As much as you possibly can. Early game varghiest wreck everything. But Vlad also gets a stat that allows his whole army to have vanguard deployment- this. This is slept on extremely hard, tell me, how on turn 5 are you supposed to deal with a seven stack of varghiest that spawn in your face? You can’t. You literally can’t
I'm honestly quite surprised that I have never seen the connection between the names von Carstein and Karnstein from Sheridan LeFanus book Carmilla. It is not as well known as Dracula, even though it is older and even influenced Bram Stokers work. The name just can't be a coincidence and it has to a reference to the book
With Immortal Empires upcoming Vlad and Isabella have slightly changed Instead of them both being lords, the one you don't pick to play as becomes a hero instead now
I read somewhere at some point, (probably GW trying to fix their rapid change or a Fanfic turned urban legend) that Vampires (at least the VoN Carsteins, Lahmians and Bloood Dragons) can alter their appearance depending on the situation. lahmian Vampires as such will look pretty and desirable when embedded in a foreign Court, and turn spiketeethed monstrosity when attacked, Vlad would keep his fancy face but switch to his Corpseface during battle (reason the von carsteins dont wear helmets) to Scare their Human Enemies. Canon or not aside i find that to fit in with the vampire mythos and fitting for warhammer aswell.
The von Draks were not "elector counts" only normal counts, they didnt get a vote on who would become the emporer. Thats because sylvania wasnt a homeland to one of the original 12 tribes of men that formed the empire, being settled and added later. Vlad did become an elector count, but only hundreds of years after his defeat, after being resurrected by nagash during the end times he struck a deal with kurt helborg to help defend the empire against chaos if he was made an elector. 15 minutes later the planet exploded. Still fun video overall!

No... there is, another...
Yup. That’s what happens in the End Times. I really dislike that book series as it tries to wrap up 3 decades of story as quickly as possible.
My man on his quest to taunt the brits as many times as he can
My favorite ever campaign was as Isabella. Can't wait to paint the map with her again in TW3
How the hell do you write all your shit so good?? It's just bangers upon bangers, I need to keep rewinding the video because I'm missing the jokes because I haven't stopped laughing at the last ones
I need to working on the pacing between jokes. I could pause between them that feels like adding a laugh track. As is, I enjoy that people can watch them multiple times and pick up on new things.
@@codybonds Goddamnit just accept the compliment
"Better love story than twilight"
That doesn't say very much.
That’s a low bar to clear
I’m pretty sure The Spiffing Brit played as her and was able to get an army of just hero units. Afterwards he used a gold exploit to fuel the legions of dead that followed.
You mean literally just the tech that makes skellis free?
@@The_Murder_Party No, it was something to do with vassalizing Templehof, releasing them as a vassal to declare war, and re-vasslizing them, multiple times per turn. It absolutely destroys the player's reliability stat, but gives shitloads of money.
@@SeanARooney ah, the chaos strat.
I'm surprised he didn't make a reference to Tall Vampire Lady...
i am bad at vampire counts cause they lack ranged
That's why you surround the enemy and pound them with cav and monsters.
Mm-agic.
You should offer cheese to the cheese god. (Watch LegendOfTotalWar)
@@radit535 he plays the game in a way that makes it not fun
This is... literally a better love story than Twilight.
Once again I say excellent work my guy.
Once again I say "Up next: Wulfrik the Wanderer!"
I'm imagining the Nakai noobs guide almost word for word
just with the details and name swaped
I thought this was going to be an actual guide to play the game... I am not disappointed.
Guide failed successfully!
Goth vampire mommies are as timeless as goth vampire mommies
What be this? , mortals doting upon thine wife?
This was amazing to watch.
It sounds like it. Can you link the book?
With Immortal Empires upcoming Vlad and Isabella have slightly changed
Instead of them both being lords, the one you don't pick to play as becomes a hero instead now
It’s a greatly appreciated improvement
Now that’s what we can call a power couple !
Beautiful presentation! Loved it, although not enough to jump from a city wall...
Oh hey, this premiered on my birthday. Glad to see Vlad's Leading Lady getting some spotlight.
Keep up the great quality videos
The Raven reference was amazing
The von Draks were not "elector counts" only normal counts, they didnt get a vote on who would become the emporer. Thats because sylvania wasnt a homeland to one of the original 12 tribes of men that formed the empire, being settled and added later.
Vlad did become an elector count, but only hundreds of years after his defeat, after being resurrected by nagash during the end times he struck a deal with kurt helborg to help defend the empire against chaos if he was made an elector. 15 minutes later the planet exploded.
Still fun video overall!
You get a like simply for the Monty Python reference
What's fun is in TWW3, instead Vlad is now a hero in her campaign... and specializes in being attached to Isabella's army.
I don't usually like this way of representing my region but for some reason I kinda enjoy playing as the vampires and re-naming all the towns as cities from Ardeal
Love the Monty Python reference! Though I felt you should have mentioned that they tried to win the elections for Emperor for a looong while, till civil war broke out and they just joined in.
The model in game might be Vlad after he got resurrected by Nagash in the Endtimes. It would be appropriate I think.
I would love to see you do a norsca one. It would be hilarious
i like the edgar allen poe bit
I'm pretty hyped about this one
these are toooo good.
Nice. Maybe we can get a noobs guide to Kroq-Gar next! Or if you dont feel like doing more Lizardmen, then maybe we can get a Noobs Guide to Wulfrik The Wanderer.
Why do they call it FLC anyway?
DLC = DownLoadable Content
FLC = FreeLoadable Content?
Pretty much - which makes it triply awkward that of the lords from Warden and the Paunch + Shadow and the Blade, the FLC lords were far and away the best additions the game.
Malus rework when...?
@@JarmamStuff i dunno, i preferred grom to imrik, but fair enough on the malus rework. The imrik ME campaign is just such a slog in the early/mid game, that it's difficult to appreciate the dragons.
20 vampires brought me here.
favorite thing i did was turn karak ar karaz against the emperor and getting gelt on my side enough that he didn't step in while fighting karl
Never played her, but i rush her with every army for that sweet sweet regen buff.
Nice vid!
Next time you speak with CA, could you ask them whether they’re considering putting the total war series on any streaming services like GeForce now? I’ve been off total war for a few years cause of a lack of strong hardware, also since it’s really difficult to get a decent gpu now I think a lot of people would appreciate TWW3 on a streaming service.
Thanks :)
Whoever did the English subtitles is a genius.
Are there extra jokes in there I cut from the final video?
@@codybonds I think so. Really enjoy your work! Keep it up!
Vampire counts:I sleep
Vampire coast: ALL HAIL THE MIGHTY!!!!! HES ARISING FROM THE DEEP!!!
Don’t move I’m gonna go get my popcorn
Please do The great green prophet next
I am starting to notice a pattern of people being thrown out of the highest tower in Warhammer.
So much better to see Vlad how he should’ve been depicted, hah; great work as always, chief 🍻
