Covering some of the recent OnlyFangs drama today! Not a topic I intend to cover alot, more of a one-off video. Haven't reacted to anything OnlyFangs related so far, as I'm not playing in OnlyFangs myself. However this "drama" has gotten to the point where I'm asked about my take on it from my own community both ingame and on various platforms, so making a video covering the topic felt like the best way to get my take out there. I also watch a lot of content when I'm not making content myself and I have spent a lot of time watching both Sodapoppin & PirateSoftware the last couple of weeks. Honestly sucks to see Pirate getting kicked over this..
This incident (further) exposes how egotistical and inauthentic Thor is. His failure to assist his teammates can be legitimately criticized, but the important takeaway is him lying and covering for his ego.

If you make a mistake that causes someone elses character to die and go "oh well, wasn't my fault at all, nothing I could have done" then don't be surprised if people call you out for being a dick. I guess it just requires basic human empathy.

Pirate could have stopped ALL this at two points. First, when it happened. Now, he thought he didn't have any mana (which is true he was oom). His lack of experience caused him to not use his mana gem, a fucking staple of being a mage. When he people told him this, he could have said "oh shit im sorry, i'll take the L and it's partially my fault you toons died." He could have just said he sucked, any sort of admission of guilt would have smoothed this over. He's now resorted to Randall from Recess levels of snitching toward Blizzard and Twitch. He better shine up that resume because he's gonna lose his fanbase over this
If it wouldnt have been taken so far, T1 and Asmon would have covered it for the 20k pirate's viewers and all those videos would take side on Pirate today.

My point stands about him trying to do so even right after the instance, and the rogue kept berating him. Pirate tried to tell the rogue he was willing to talk if the rogue wouldn’t yell and talk over him, but when the rogue continued to do so Pirate disengaged realizing it wasn’t going to be conversation, it was going to be the rogue berating and talking over him.

This group already had a close call in the last dungeon attempt just before this, "Pirate" did the same thing he did here in that run too and yet they all went back in together, so this was what they should have expected. As far as Im concerned this was good content until people started micro analyzing every VoD just to get him Kicked. I also don't understand why "Pirate" needs to apologize for not doing more when they were only put in that situation because of the Tank, he told Tyler1 on stream that he could have played better but "YamDef", the Rogue, wanted to insist that he didn't apologize enough. The rogue also went on to Asmon's stream and argued with him in chat to try to signal boost this further. I also find the Ego comments to be funny because OnlyFangs is a content guild made up of the biggest egos on Twitch, its even funnier that they are trying to force him to apologize, talking about ego. This whole thing is just pathetic on the guild's part and I would have done that same thing in Pirate's position. I wouldn't lose my character trying to save this party if they cant decide if they are going to run to try to salvage that pull.

Ultimately, his response is why everyone is shitting on him, and him trying to report/ban people for reacting to his roaching out is what got him kicked. Streamers in OnlyFangs are ROUTINELY clowned on for their mistakes, and they own up to them, they laugh along with them and admit fault. All Pirate has done so far was say "well, we all could have done better" which is such a weak and disingenuous way to try and take accountability. If you want to act like a smarmy asshole, don't be surprised when people don't want to play with you anymore.

When you're in a stressful situation like that and people are actively telling you to run - you're going to default to instinct. I guarantee that Pirate has the instinct to barrier before a pull and use the Blizzard on his keybind. It's farming behavior when you're on autopilot. You @SolheimGaming have the luxury of using your analytical brain when reviewing these clips. It's very easy to lock up and default to something that isn't the best. That's why football players run drills - it's to instill a better default behavior. That being the case, Soda is 100% playing up the bit. I would not be surprised if they re-invite him after "talking it out".
This whole Pirate Drama really shows me who is terrible at WoW and who isn't ...... if you think this guys gameplay was ok at all then you are a NOOB and it is really that simple.
Anyone defending Thor in this situation is just not very good at WoW, knows nothing about the game, or is a furry fanboy of PirateSoftware and believes he can do no wrong. No, he doesn't deserve the amount of hate he is getting. Death threats, doxxing, what have you - all of that is clearly over the line and a gross overreaction to someone misplaying in a video game. Despite that, yes, he fucked up here and all of this could have been avoided if he put his ego to the side and made an effort to understand what he did wrong. Objective analysis of the clip (by anyone with a half-competent understanding of the game and how mages work) is all you need to understand how he could have prevented, at the very least, the druid from dying. Could he have done more yes, but at the same time he wouldn't have had to do more had they played up to Thors "bad" level. There is absolutely no reason they should have stopped running for like 5 seconds standing on another ramp. There is no reason as to why they didn't use AI pathing to get out easier. There is no reason as to why two warstomps were not use to get out. There is no reason why fear couldn't have been used. There is no reason why Gouge or Vanish+Cheap shot can't be used. There is no reason why vines couldn't be used. You want to blame Thor because he didn't do more, but not them for doing their own base line.
I'm not sure why anyone outside of the guild or someone who plays with them cares much. If they had stayed and tossed some blizzards, it might of made a difference, the other two were so close to getting out.

@@dariohenriquez7773 It takes less then a second to assess the situation. Once you see the tank doesn't have aggro (which is visible multiple times). You don't need longer to decide. Could he have played different yet, but there is a large difference between looking back at vods and saying "You could have done x and y". It is different in the moment. You don't have time to think. The simply matter if even if Thor didn't do the little he did all of them could have made it out. They didn't because of their own misplays. Before, during, and after the call was made to run.

Notice how the four other members of the group are still there attempting to help each other. I was in a guild called OnlyFangs on the EU Server as I play in EU, that guild has nothing to do with the actual OnlyFangs Guild which is on NA :D Was rejected for OnlyFangs due to not being big enough

Not one truly had an issue with Pirate Roach, the problem was he claimed he was perfect and did nothing wrong then was very rude to his team. The dude also claimed to be a mage god but had no clue what the do in a pinch. Roaching is normal in HC but lying about it is not normal at all. We respect one another enough to say Sorry I can do better. I wish people would stop talking about the a$$ pull or the original pull it makes no difference if it was a perfect play we would not be here, would we. The fact, it was a bad pull then Pirate reached then lied about everything, and would take no blame at all. Solheim you take sucks. You start off terrible just stick to the issue not the pull not how you play this is not about your knowledge at all.

Yup, and like my analysis, he could have used way many more rank 1 blizzard's or rank 1 nova's if he didn't waste 1190 mana on a Max Rank Blizzard which ticked ONCE on two mobs, one of which was a boss, and also wasted even more mana on 2x unnecessary blinks, as well as an Ice Barrier.

This is a massively dumb take. This whole thing has pushed me to quit WoW entirely. Blizzard is at an all time low and the community isn't any better pushing this drama when the call was clearly to run. I've never been happier to quit WoW. This game is far past it's prime. I'm going to stick to private servers from now on.

This is a massively dumb take. This whole thing has pushed me to quit WoW entirely. Blizzard is at an all time low and the community isn't any better pushing this drama when the call was clearly to run. I've never been happier to quit WoW. This game is far past it's prime. I'm going to stick to private servers from now on.
