Sir, I working on Traction motor company which manufacture 3phase induction motor for Traction system. In our company rotor slot and stator slot are not skewed, because rotor and stator slot are un equal. e. g. Stator-54 and rotor- 65
Yes, in this case it should not be equal and also the stator slots/ Rotor slots should not be an integer number.
