      I quit because a doctor told me to. Don't really miss it unless I get very thirsty and I crave a coke. You go overboard- hello diabetes! Goodby leg etc... not worth it.

    sugar is a hard drug, and it is everywere, not just in Sweets and candy.

      Yea man, it really is, if you live in the US. I started checking labels for sugar and calorie intake and I was surprised at the amount of items I found with sugar in them that I thought wouldnt have any sugar at all. Bread, and crackers really threw me for a loop when i saw they had sugar in them.

      How do you stop, the first thing i do in the morning is go to check if we have more candy and then i will seriously eat all of it. I cant go one day without eating sugar

      @@thea9153 sugar is rare in nature so we are super sensitive to it we get a lot of dopamine aka the happy hormone so you will be addicted to it like druts

    I quit sugar a year ago and I never felt more happy and energized like I do now, it was a little hard at the beginning but try it out guys it's the best thing you'll ever try

    I was addicted to sugar for over 30years of my life. I'm 38 and for the last 90 days I have given up all sugary foods...not only have I went from 387lbs to 313lbs but I have noticed my joint pain is completely gone. I assumed my joint pain was due to my weight loss however from this video I'm realizing maybe it was giving up sugar cold turkey. I remember for so many years I had to have a sugary snack at least once a day or it would affect my mood negatively. I'm just so happy I was able to kick that habit and my body is slowly but surely thanking me for it. 😊

    I have given up white sugar in my coffee 2 coffee a day and 2 teaspoons of sugar in each cup and I went from 235lb to 160lb and changed nothing else ! Take care! Peace from Welland Ontario Canada 🇨🇦

    Becoming a sugar addict has crept up on me. Had no idea just addictive sugar was and now I'm suffering the consequences. My body has been trying to tell me for a while with hideously painful elbows, aching body, acne, IBS. Doctor had no idea what was wrong. Watching this clip has been a real eye opener and wake up call, no more sugar for me. Thanks for putting this info out there.

    I went alkaline and then vegan and am now going more towards raw. It feels great! I eat so very little sugar, and I consume lots of fruits and veggies. That is the best life changes I’ve ever made!

      @@Steven-vh6fg That they are. But I don’t consume much processed sighed that had been extracted for bakery products and the like. And I do not drink pop or things like that. Sure, our fruits have been changed by humans; they are Al it more potent than they were decades ago. Some people never eat fruit. I have no issue with fruit. I do not over eat it. I just have normal amounts of it.

    By intermittent fasting and reducing my sugar intake drastically, my illnesses are 1/3 of the duration they used to be.

      I've tried intermittent fasting 4 different times and it hasn't worked. I haven't lost a single pound in 2 1/2 months this time even though I've fasted as much as 20 hours a day. I think I've been eating too much plus too much sugar. I'll keep trying.
      I can't do extended fasts because I get dizzy and disoriented from my meds.

      @@happydays1336 Probably too long of a fast for you. Pull back and do a 12 - 16 hour fast with LIMITED sugar. You’re eating too much sugar that will make you dizzy.

    Sugar that is already contained in a food source is good for you. Your body has to break it down to get the glucose, usually. Added sugar, which was separated from its source is what you don't need.

    Trying not to eat sugar as a 13 year old is hard. I’m always down and sad. Sugar makes me happy for the most part, it also makes me depressed becuase I’m getting fatter XD

    I actually have lost a lot of weight. This is because I've sticked To a well balanced diet of fruit veggies and grain. I have a once a month pig out day of all my favorite sweets and my efforts have resulted me in losing 80kg from 150 and by the way I am 5ft6.

      If they like their blue berries with caramel and sprinkles, then so be it.
      There is no right or wrong when it comes to taste. Live and let live. Case closed.

    When I avoid sugar in its most obvious forms (ie. chocolate, cake etc.) my facial T-zone doesn't get oily, my road rage disappears and I sleep better. It takes about a week or two to notice the results.

      Women respond to vanity. There was an anti smoking ad where health affects meant nothing then they showed women what they would look like in 20 years of smoking, most tried to quit immediately.

    I stopped eating sugar for about 2 months and in that two months i saw a lot of positives changes but the most positive change was my skin. Ive had bad acne since puberty hit me but once i cut out sugar my skin was soooo clear. About a week after i started eating sugar again i noticed that everyrhing started coming back ferociously. So now im working on cutting it out again

    My son has been chronically sick and I had to get to the bottom of it. He's a very picky eater and sugar is the cause! Definitely going to work much harder on getting him to eating healthier whole foods.

    I stopped sugar 3 months ago and my body just don’t need it in the system and I just don’t want to eat it.Before that I could not live a day without something sweet. So, try to forget eating sugar for some period of time and watch the results. 🙏🏻🙂

    Natural sugar that occurs in nature is good for you when it's accompanied by fibre. Added processed sugar is bad for everything. I've cut out all processed foods containing hidden sugars and got the all sugar out of the house. I've never felt better.

    I was a girl who from very early 😉 age was famous in my family for not liking sugar 😅 but after many years I first started eating sugary sweets even though they were tooo sweet for my taste buds I ate them cause all my family members said that sweets are also very imp😂 this caused me to eat a lot of sugar as compared to my earlier self 😂😂 and got A LOT of skin break outs at that age .now I am 14 and sometimes crave for sugary foods but try to resist myself but end up eating them sometimes 😅 .Now say best of luck guys because on my way to cut sugar from my dirt 🙏🤠❤️❤️

    I take pretty good care of my teeth, but I have had all the other symptoms. The past couple weeks I've been indirectly cutting out processed sugar, and I've been seeing a big difference. I cut out caffeinated products due to a heart condition, and those products constituted nearly all of my sugar intake (coffee products, energy drinks, soda, and chocolate). Since then I have seen improvements in all of those areas.

    i havent had any added sugar in 6 days and my skin has cleared up a lot and also i already lost 2 pounds (no exercise btw) so reducing sugar is rlly worth it !! im 14 btw

    I quit putting sugar in my coffee today. I use to put about 2 tablespoons twice in the morning and once in the afternoon. Can’t wait to see how much weight I will lose 🤞

    I'm 21 years old, and as of Halloween, I have been free of all sweets (candy, chocolate, pop, even chips and high sugar cereals).
    My skin has never been smoother and clearer, and I genuinely feel as energetic as I did in my late teens.

    I start becoming healthy because most of my family have diabetes and some of em had to get there legs amputated & some died as well. So that’s why I started becoming healthy and breaking that cycle for my family to ever be sick from diabetes and stay healthy!

    Thankyou for such valuable signs of high sugar. Seriously, I overeat lot of sugary stuffs.. Most of times I feel tired, low energy, excessive wieghts, and also experience joint and muscle pains. Unable to wake up early bcoz of junk foods

    Giving up sugar completely can be hard! Try cutting out just one thing from your daily sugar intake and see what a difference it makes. If you dont notice the difference in a couple weeks go ahead and cut another sugar source from your diet. It gets easier each time.     I started about a month ago to avoid added sugar. I still eat some cake if it is someones birthday but there is no added sugar in my daily life and I feel very happy about it and very proud of myself for being able to do this change :) the first days where a bit hard but now I don't miss sugar at all, actually if I see some food with added sugar (like candies, cakes, cookies, some breads, etc) I just start to think about all the bad effects that can have in my body so I don't find them nice anymore. Fruits are now my favourite snacks haha ;)

    This is so true. I once drank Red Bull after Red Bulls when I drove a 3000 mile round trip... My skin was wrecked after that trip.

    I stopped taking in sugar for 11 months now January 5 will be exactly 1 year..... its today it came to mind to search on the bad effects of sugar.....

      Ingrid Felfly you can do it!!! Just be sure to cut out foods that convert to sugar like carbs, fruit, certain vegetables. Take some supplements like a Centrum.

      Ingrid Felfly everything else lol. That's not everything but it's More related to eating how diabetes eat. Most who manage well heavily watch what they eat.

    I do have energy yo-yo’s but when I have no energy I don’t crave sugar and it’s normal for me to crave sugar and I think dats normal for me and green apples taste sweet but red ones don’t taste as good as green apples so please make a list on why sugar is good for you
