Small update to the Endymion deck. Is this deck from 2019 still relevant in Yugioh Master Duel? Is the meta game to strong? Can it get to Dimond 1? Check it out and see for your self. Yeah, Garuda is a beast! There’s also another replay (didn’t get featured) of me going against anti-special summon and Garuda saved me because he could be recycled with Institution. He is 100% worthy of being in the deck.
Greta video, The way he break the first negate board while only having 3 viable cards in his starting hand was insane. IIRC, you can still bounce Zeus with MB Garuda if you tab ON on your effects when he special summons.
That first game was undoubtedly one of the craziest games I’ve ever had in my life. Also about Zeus? He’s a dumb card. If he gets summoned and you use Garuda, he will be able to chain his effect and send every card to the graveyard. Then Garuda will resolve and put Zeus back in the extra deck for a secondary use. Had to get rid of Downered. I actually could’ve used Garuda on Recital Starling but I specifically remembered that I wanted to figured out if Called by the Grave still negates the xyz materials as well. I was wrong.
that first game was godlike, he basically faced the god board 2 omni negates, one monster negate, a veiler and an ash and he stil got the win in one turn. INSANE
Don’t forget the Colossus that was shutting down all searches (making two cards in my hand useless) and can protect itself from destruction once (immune to Endymion’s pop effect so it already takes multiple cards to out it). That was probably the most oppressive board state I’ve ever went against and the second biggest comeback I’ve made (the first being from the finals of Anom’s tournament in the upcoming video). Super glad I was able to showcase this amazing replay.
How come you guys don't use mythical beast jackal ? It has the ability to tribute itself for price of 3 counters for any mythical beast monster in your deck then you can slap up to 2 counters on chosen. It's a fat 3 piece in my deck .
Hey, Vengeance. I’m not sure why you didn’t notice Mythical Beast Jackal in the video. He’s in nearly every duel for me. I summon him in this video at 4:26 and 9:59. I even talk about the Jackal-Magister combo which gets out three negates. And in real life, I use 3 Jackal and 3 Magister because Electrumite is banned. I’ve been using Jackal every since Endymions first got announced and it won’t change anytime soon.
Chimeratech Fortress was there because I had plenty of room in the e deck. In Anom’s second tournament, I went against Cyber Dragons and Chimeratech Fortress would’ve been an auto win if he left a Cyber Dragon on the field. It was in the e deck in case I went against a Cyber Dragon player but after the master duel update that brought in the Spellbook structure deck and Dharc, the Dark Charmer, I took out Bagooska and Chimeratech since every card in the extra deck is actually playing a part now.
@@thefinalanomaly It gives great insight to plays and decks that normally you don't see on streams like the ojamas and armed dragons from Sparando. So even though i'm not a fan of Endymion's i still looked at the video and was amazed at what they can do.
@@JohnDoe-km9vx oh yeah. I’m actually not the biggest fan of pendulum cards. They are actually my least favorite of all yugioh cards but this deck is definitely something else
I've been playing endymion with any card with spell counters since day one when his pendulum and magitus forms came out I ran them immediately and had several games where I summoned all three on the field in one turn Forever my favorite/best spellcaster deck(move over dark magician) and one of my top three to play
DM and Endymions are my two mains because my first two decks I ever bought were Yugi Reloaded and Spellcaster’s Command (which I immediately mixed together). You have no idea how much I’ve missed Electrumite since I’ve been forced to play without her for almost three years in the TCG. When I found Electrumite was legal in Master Duel, I immediately mained Endymions all the way. Super hyped for when the new DM support comes to Master Duel so I can rank climb with them again.
I actually just started tried this deck out and slowly learning how it works having some trouble with knowing what order to activate things but I enjoy playing it
That was the most difficult part when I was learning the deck back in 2019. You don’t just need to know the combos (which you usually make up on the spot). You need to activate everything in the precise order in order to continue momentum. One misplay severely hurts your turn (and that only says things about the player and not actually the strength of the deck). Once you’re able to look at the card and know everything you need to know of that card in under a second, you usually don’t misplay again. Keep with it because this deck is just so much fun!
In real life, I don’t have Electrumite and I have to use Servant at 1 and I went against a Tenyi-Swordsoul player who usually tops every tournament. I ended up pulling out 4 negates and a Selene (would’ve had 5 but he Imperm’ed my Jackal). He was so extremely annoyed the entire game because he ended up breaking my board with the card that shuffles back into the deck and then I just build the exact same board on my next turn. Then he broke it again but didn’t know that he couldn’t attack Selene and I just pendulum summoned them all back to the field and won finally. After that, he told me “I don’t know why there’s nobody talking about that deck. That deck is good enough to compete with any of the meta decks.” Felt really cool to hear that lol
It was pretty lucky, but he must’ve thought that I couldn’t activate anything else in my hand (because of Colossus), so he might as well use up his negations during my turn so he could get them back during his turn. I’ve done that before because I assume my opponent won’t have anything to do afterwards, so I get negate-happy and don’t even read what I’m negating lol (I advise not doing this). But thanks for watching! This was one of the craziest duels I’ve ever had.
With the first game, what u could've done instead what use selene to summon reflection and don't activate reflection, then use Endymion's pend effect to summon itself, pop 3 cards (savage, adv token and librarian) then go into accesscode with selene + reflection. Pop collosus twice to kill it. Not game since he's at 9k but little to nothing he can do, especially with endy negate. Your play did give better follow up tho which is good. Glad it worked out anyway. Well played. That guy however by all means should have won, he used his negates very poorly.
That definitely is another route. I looked at Colossus and knew he couldn’t be popped once so I looked for the alternative route which was to either banish it with Cerberus or bounce it with Reflection. Everything other play afterwards though was guaranteed (unlike Electrumite’s draw or Bestiary’s mill) so I knew with the amount of handtraps I played through that he wouldn’t have had anything else to really stop me. Also don’t forget about Fateful Adventure which could search a card like Enchantress. Sure I could negate with Endymion, but then it would leave me at the mercy of the top deck (but it’s Halq-Don; I doubt he had any follow up). But yeah, I definitely should have lost that, especially after my opponent wasted the negate on Institution. My thought process during that duel was me just going through the motions before realizing “wait, could I actually win this?” Definitely was one of the craziest duels I’ve ever had.
@@shadowspector3611 yea that is his fault tho, u love to see it when u think it's over but then u see there is actually a chance and end up winning 😄 your play gave great follow up in case he did happen to top anything special which is nice. Usually with that deck tho if halqadon is spent, and their board is broken they'll have no other threatening plays. Let's just be thankful than this is the last season of halq. Now we just have to deal with despia which I feel could go either way depending how much u can extend. Haven't tested endy too much against it myself. Spyral is another scary deck to watch out for next season.
I love this deck! I started building it two months ago as a F2P and it was miserable, but I’ve got it built except for one chicken game. I still don’t feel like I know how to play the deck to its full potential, but damn is it fun to play!
It is super fun and just so satisfying to pendulum summon all those negates on the field. I’m still completely f2p too (haven’t spent a single cent on this game) and still able to get the necessary cards. The only UR’s you need for the core is 3 Jackal Kings, 3 Endymions, and 1 Electrumite. The other draw spells help like Upstart and maybe Chicken Game but if you’re just wanting to play the deck as a f2p, it’s still perfectly feasible. I’m glad you’re able to be using the deck and having fun with it since it is a really awesome deck to use!
Zeus is the most annoying card I’ve ever seen. I hate him more than I hate Herald of Ultimateness. Garuda is excellent for outing him though, and he’s the main reason why I rejected using Into the Void for so long. Do keep in mind that if you are using Into the Void, you’ll need to choose between using Garuda or Void, but if you are running both cards, there’s still a chance to resolve both. What I usually do when I have both Garuda and Void is that I just use Garuda as popping-fodder for Electrumite’s effect. What you can do instead though is if you have the necessary combo pieces, you can pendulum summon Garuda from your e deck and give him a counter with any other spells you have (or just have your opponent use a spell during their turn). Then you can use Endymion’s effect (during your opponent’s turn after Void discards your hand) to return him to the hand to negate any spell or trap your opponent might use like Imperm or Evenly Matched if they have it. Even if your opponent is running a monster-based deck like Zoodiacs who just summon a monster and climb into Boarbow without any effect activations, you can trigger Endymion’s effect yourself if you have a facedown Bestiary to negate (or even a Called by the Grave you don’t mind losing). The #1 card you need to bounce against Zoodiacs is Boarbow and they’ll never be able to Zeus you cuz Boarbow can only be summoned the easy way once per turn. Also refrain from summoning monsters in defense (only if you’re playing around Zeus because I usually play around Lightning Storm, Numerons, and even Ojama Blue). Even a weak Selene can’t be attacked while Endymion cards are on the field. Hope this helps you not get board-wiped! :)
