Walking The Cumbria Way - Day 2 - Coniston to Great Langdale

Walking The Cumbria Way through the Lake District on our second day. From Coniston to the end of Great Langdale. Going between Coniston and Hawkshead, we walk to Tarn Howes on a Bank Holiday weekend. We then head towards Skelwith Bridge near Ambleside, bypassing a busy Elterwater and finding ourselves at Burlington Slate Mine. We head down to The Wainwright Pub for a pint of Thwaites Wainwright before entering the Langdale Valley. We pass The New Dungeon Ghyll Hotel and head towards the Great Langdale National Trust Campsite and The Old Dungeon Ghyll Hotel were we spend the night. Not without some well earned pints of ale in The Hiker's Bar.
