First, awesome video and content as always! Yeah, I dented my transmission pan trying to do the driver's side control arm loosening the motor mount BEFORE watching this. I wound up replacing the pan and it was easy while I had the motor jacked up... HOWEVER the motor mount got in the way for the other stuff so I made a temp motor mount out of all-thread and nuts to keep the engine elevated while I dropped the pan and filter so I could remove the jack. It worked fine. I am interested in the motor mount double nut, stud removal thing I've read of for when I do the passenger side. Do you have any input, opinion or experience on that? I think if it is 'do-able' as in the mounts all have studs threaded into them rather than molded in or cast, it might save time and potential stress for both the mechanic and the components! :)
I was wondering why you take off the hub nuts, was thinking maybe you're going to replace axles at same time. But I got it now, you need that movement when you lift up the engine and need to move it around to align bolts. I would have forgot that. Thanks.
yes that was just in case but not really necessary in every case, but I like the axles to provide some flexibily if needed in case if the engine is getting too much pressure when going up so with out the nut it would move to the inside providing more options. thanks for sharing Appreciate it very much.
hi Roger and thanks for visiting my channel, I see you already found part 2 and sorry for the delay but usually I work late most of the time, thanks for visiting my channel.
they were not good, engine was playing too much, the engine was moving foward when the Driver hit the brake padal, and they were never changed during the entire life of the sienna. thanks for your comment I really appreciated.
i have this problem where the bolts from the bottom of the engine mount spins freely and doesn’t not allow me to take the nut off, any suggestions please?🙏🏽
it happend to me a few years ago on the passenger side and cut the motor mount by the top of the subframe around each stud with a sawzall, or you can try a die grinder, that was a very bad experience, I did not make videos at tha time yet. try that may be that helps.
@@JM-AUTO Correction. I edited my response. I meant the axle nuts at 3:33 in the video. Thinking about it though it would help a bit, nevertheless I was able to change the mounts without undoing the axle nuts and I hope I did not strain anything.

HOW LONG DID IT TAKE TO DO THE ENTIRE JOB?
im asking to see how much labor would cost me
about 3 hours, it will depend on the experience but it be more than that.
Good video
i love the video. where is the part 2?

What was the reason to change motor mounts? Just because of usage term?
they were not good, engine was playing too much, the engine was moving foward when the Driver hit the brake padal, and they were never changed during the entire life of the sienna. thanks for your comment I really appreciated.

I just changed all three lower mounts on my 06 Sienna. There is no need to remove the axles nuts as shown in this video.
may be my memory and my eyes are not good because I cant see and I cant remember at what time I removed the axles.

Can barely see the rear engine mount stuff. The camera is obscured by the stabilizer bar.
