I relate so much to the whole loving eating out/take out/restaurants segment. FOOD is defo the love of my life. When I went through my card app, I realised that I had spent $650 all from Just Eat/Uber Eats in one month in addition to my groceries and I was blown away 🤯. Now I track all my expenses meticulously and diligently, I don’t really have a massive problem with overspending anymore but I still have to be very intentional. My eat out budget is down to $150 p/m which I’m comfortable with. Im not into beauty and clothes, so it’s my drug of choice 😂😜
I spend around $150 a month for gas. Gas prices are up recently, so I'm sure that's going to change. Glad to hear that you have a financial adviser. It's so important to invest. It's made the best difference in my finances ✨
Damn this is SO INTERESTING!!!! Love hearing the behind the scenes of what you're spending hahah, definitely feeling inspired to do this for my life too!
I love your budget with me videos and you’ve honestly inspired me to start! I can’t wait to see how I do this month and share it on my channel next month :)
It’s so nice to hear what kind of financial wealth/abilities you have in being influencer (compared to what I make ect). I’m definitely not in the same earrings but, this has put me into perspective. I really need to lower my expectations in what I can actually spend to whats expected of me in society to have / spend. Also I spend $200 a week on fuel (I travel 3hrs for schooling), which I fill my car up 3 times a week. Average about $60/$70 for a full tank.
I don't drive a ton (probably about 10K miles a year) but I live in a state with very high gas prices (probably only Hawaii is higher, Florida is definitely lower) and looks like I spend under $100/mo. I also drive a compact car with manual transmission - gets around 35 mpg or so on average (combined, city+hwy)
Wow.. the gym is soo expensive! Why not setting up a home gym at this point? I did the same a few months ago to cut down on expenses and because this way I get to exercise more often.💪
I don’t really have room to set up a complete home gym/ don’t know how safe it is to have a full gym in an apartment with people living below me 😂 I used to think that the gym wasn’t worth it but I love the ritual of leaving my apartment every morning too
@@NatalieBarbu I work from home a lot and I pay for an expensive gym too - to me it feels like going to the spa every day and sometimes relaxing and having a nice environment is worth it over saving the money!
@@NatalieBarbu I get it, maybe in the future when you have more space. Looking forward to the update on buying a condo in Miami. Such a great investment!👌
I drive a rav4 hybrid and i pay less than $100 month (I live in central VA) because I get such good mileage! it's a 10-12 gallon tank and whenever i fill up, it says I have 520-550 miles
I drive a Jeep Wrangler and im in queens NY. Definitely a more expensive tank to fill but I pay about 60$ for a full tank when I’m basically on E. Can go about 2 weeks (unless im driving somewhere uncommon) , so my guess is 120$ a month on gas and gas prices are are soooo high at the moment
Thanks for the video! Enjoyed it. I’m really curious about your miles. I have a model y long range and for a supercharge, I pay around $16 for ~290 miles (used to be 310 but batteries are eating away). For me, it cost $0.21/kwh and model y have 75kwh. I highly suggest to check the times you charge because certain time, it can go up to $0.42/khw, which means a full charge can be $32. Unless you are doing ~2.5k miles in a month then you are actually saving a lot with Tesla if it is $139. But love budget videos so keep it up.
Gas is sooo expensive in pa right now i drive around 300 miles each week and fill my tank probably once a week and it’s up to $40 per fill so like $150 a month
How do you split your savings by percent of your monthly income? Do you invest in the stock market exclusive or keep liquid savings? Do you have an IRA or a 401(k) equivalent?
I always love these videos!! My index fingers do the same as yours lol Also for gas when I was working for a company and not myself I spent A LOT more on gas and insurance than now self employed. This is before the drastic gas price increases we are facing but my gas would be $80-$100 CDN a week!! So I was usually averaging about $400 a month on gas CDN which is astronomical when converted to usd for sure so even though the Tesla super charge seems high it’s totally way cheaper than gas. For me electric is NOT the way to go living in a -40 temperature 5 months of the year and the amount of driving I do as well as poor infrastructure to support Tesla specific chargers but that’s a really great value you’re getting versus gas
It sounds like charging at a Tesla charging station is a lot more expensive than if you were to charge at home with your own installed charger because I used to have an electric Fiat and I would only spend the equivalent of 50 cents per gallon so WAY less than what you're spending! Now I have a gas vehicle again and I spent about $160-180/month on gas!
the tesla charge payment for you this month is a bummer. i have an electric car (not tesla) and we have a lot of free chargers all over from the government (in the US). I heard tesla has some proprietary charger so you can’t use the same one. The govt ones are universal and more are popping up everywhere bc it’s a big initiative!
Your honesty is refreshing. When your older and living a different lifestyle you will appreciate how much crazy fun you had in your youth.

Girl I do the same when I comes to food and eating out. It's just so easy to order doordash or eat out. I've spent a lot of food as well and coffee.
Love love love this content Natalie 🙏🏻👏🏻 keep it up

You can try a low buy or no buy 6-month challenge to help with spending less/frugal living!

Exactly! I workout at home too and it's such a great way to workout more and save money.

@@NatalieBarbu that's true. It's also a nice way to get out of the house consistently. I tend to spend lot of time in my apartment 😂

You don't need Norton, just download credit karma and it will let you know about credit pulls
Agreed! Or freeze your credit reports.

My gas is $65 a week for a Nissan Altima. So seems like you’re doing way better with the super charge

i relate this so much.
Yesssss love these videos !
I live in Fort Lauderdale and work in Biscayne, my guess is never more than $100 a month. I feel like that’s really expensive for charging!!!

Graham Stephan would be great for talking about investing!

Love these videos! Does the monthly investing include your retirement accounts?
