I'm in Jupiter, Florida. I used to have progressive and when I turned 25 last year my rate didn't go down so I looked for a new company. Geico was about $55 cheaper a month for the same coverage for my 2018 honda civic. Now I pay $110 a month. My weekly fill up used to be $30-35 and now it's $40-45.
I’m in Tampa and I pay about $120 a month on insurance for my 2020 Kia Sorento through Progressive! Your insurance seems super high, but maybe Miami is worse for drivers than over here in Tampa!
Car insurance: $150 for full coverage on a Toyota Corolla 2016, I do drive about 20k miles a year and I just turned 21! Gas: about $180 a month.. I live in the country side in California so everything is super spread out 😭 I live about 35mi from school and 15 miles from work
I'm in West Palm. We have 2 cars under the same insurance - Tesla Model 3 and a Honda Civic 2022 and we pay $300 for both cars together with Geico. We used to have the Tesla with State Farm before and they were charging us $250 just for the Tesla, so definitely call around some more!
I find these videos very interesting and helpful as well Nat so thank you for filming them. having a coffee machine comes to show how much money you're saving for coffee that's amazing! the insurance is pricey indeed and with these gas prices at the moment I'm glad I don't have a car 😅 great video ,can't wait for next month ❤
I pay around $100 for medium coverage as well with Geico. I only drive about 5k miles a year though with a 2016 car in the Bay Area. I’m thankful it’s not too much.
Florida is probably expensive for insurance because it is the worst state to buy a car - no lemon law for used cars so a lot of cars are from accidents/floods
My husband is a plumber and if he knows the person, he would heavily discount the “labor” charge or like he won’t charge my family at all but you still charge for parts. It would have probably been awkward for you to ask for a receipt since he’s your dad’s friend, but hopefully he didn’t charge you much labor! I mean we have a shower head that was $50 soooo idk what type of shower head is $200 😂 fancy but it adds up if so
I live in NC and I have GEICO insurance for $100 a month. It used to be $80 but I got in an accident a few months back so it went up. Florida has crazy drivers, especially Miami so that’s probably why your insurance is so high
Certain cities can charge more for car insurance because rates of car accidents are higher there. (SO GLAD I kept my CA car insurance while I was in Las Vegas, my friends where paying >$350/mo for car insurance in Las Vegas, with Toyotas/Honda).
I used to live in WPB and our insurance was SO HIGH compared to the northeast but our state farm rep said it was because of the frequent hurricanes idk if that holds true but maybe could help explain why south fl insurance is insane lol
Whoa. $397/month! Now, your car is probably work more than double mine given it's a Tesla, however that is bananas. I have a VW Golf, 2020. It went up recently, unfortunately. Just got charged, it was $415 for 6 months --> ~$70/month. I have my miles at I think 9 or 10K per year. I'm in California. Also, I use Costco's insurance program which I have found to be the cheapest (I also looked at quotes from Wawanesa (sp?), and USAA). Gas - I'm still around $100/month but I don't drive that much. I fill up maybe twice a month.
I'm just curious what you typically get when you go out to eat because I feel like if I ate out for a month I'd gain a TON of weight and you clearly haven't. I'm vegetarian so I feel like i eat somewhat healthy when I go out, buy i definitely usually don't go out to eat just because I find that I gain weight :/
So glad you're loving TrulySmall Accounting Natalie!

I spend about $115 a month on gas!! But I also only commute about 20 min and train rest of the way

Maybe it’s because you don’t have to get your car inspected in FL? Thats so high though!

INSANE!!!!
Gas: $93 per month (12 month average)
Car insurance: $56 per month

Can you total it all up at the end? Lol I’m curious and lazy
I’m 23 my car insurance is $120 in Texas (but I’m on my dads plan so idk if it helps to have more than one person on for discounts)
Hi! I pay $430 every 6 months for a 2019 Mazda cx 5 with Geico in Louisiana.
I love these videos! Thank you for doing this!

my car insurance is about 60 bucks w/ geico only because i bought a new car last year! before that it was cheaper lol
My husband and I pay $148 for two vehicles! 2010 & 2012 and that was lower than Geico. Idk why because I lowered out coverages too 😩
$65 for car miles !!
I spend $200 minimum a week 😑
Nigerian gal loving your content 😍😍😍
My car insurance is like $85/mo but I have a 14 year old car!
Love these videos !
Miami drivers are reckless! That is why the insurance is probably so high. I live here and scared to drive here :(
$1300/ 6 months for car insurance.
$83 a month in NYC!
I pay $150 for car insurance with AAA!
