I LOVE these so much! The vintage Halloween is perfect! The Cabinet of Curiosities is wonderful. I worked in the Health Dept Lab for years and we used to decorate the foyer of the specimen receiving area like a mad scientist's lab. This reminds me of good times!

Very unique, I cant wait for the dark academia version, I'm 51 years young 😂 😂. For the first time in my life I want to add dark academia to my home decor , to my living room { I'm more shabby chic definitely victorian style } , so I'm researching and I'm on the hunt for ideas. The cabinet is awesome. I would love to make one for each holiday and season and special occasion. It would be a special gift from someone to fill it up with the memories of their lives.

You could also add small blocks of styrofoam or wood in a section to glue the stickers on.

Thank you so much! I try to keep my head in a good place because I realize that when I am down, it will show in my voice, not just my face (which you can't see). I've learned to avoid confrontation if at all possible so those comments are simply deleted and if the issue persists, I block them as well.

Girl we are such kindred spirits! I had to laugh when the video started because I just got finished playing in my studio with the exact same project and the exact same vintage images. 🤓. I’m working on making my own little books with balsa wood and colored papers. I love your sweet little broom. When you cut the candy corn tree I think it made it look like a big fluffy piece of candy corn instead of a tree and I love it!! I look forward to the other one.
For the cauldron and other items you want to make look like metal and aged, try Golden fluid acrylics micaceous iron oxide. It’s really awesome. I’ve used it on many projects and have always been pleased with the results.

Ahhhhh boo this is my jam right here !! I love this so so much fall is my absolute favorite season of the year and 2nd to Christmas because my lord deserves #1 spot in my heart , Halloween is so spooktacular!!!
Those faux leather sheets can also be found at hobby lobby, with the felt squares. I think they have 4 different ones, I bought some to try to cover books with.

Love this cabinet! I found something similar at a garage sale years ago, and never quite knew what to do with it. It's going to get a coat of paint in a little bit, and some goodies in the spaces.

Was thinking when you clipped the top of the candy corn tree you could glue the top if it to the bottom of the box above it...kind of like it's intruding in the little "world" above it.

I have the EXACT same wooden box for the littles! I was thinking what should I do with it and now I know! I make something every Halloween or my daughter's house and this year she has a new entertainment unit that she is gonna do like potion bottles and such so I will make her one of these!

You had my brain scrambling right along with yours, kindred feeling! These all turned out Spooktacular and I love that Vintage look! Women were so misjudged back in time, they were claimed to be witches because they were bold, outspoken, healers and teachers. Their love for nature {to make medicine} and creatures is in me so if that makes me a witch so be it! We can not have light without darkness ying without yang. All Art is a beautiful thing to me, be it oddly dark or light! Bring on the oddities the gothic vintage you do all these so well!

I'm a little late to comment, but I agree about the witches. They were wise women of the villages and got persecuted because they had knowledge of herbs, how to plant and when and perhaps other knowledge of nature that gave them some power that others didn't have. Probably didn't sit well with leaders of the village. Now they are made to be evil because that looks good for the movies.
